Organic farm Shepherd's Hut with a view

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

Situated in the heart of Devon, Bridge Cottage is a traditional cob cottage nestled on the banks of the river Torridge, on the edge of the picturesque village of Sheepwash. The 2 bed / 2 bath cottage offers a homely rural retreat for up to four guests – a relaxing space at the end of an active day, or a tranquil place to simply escape. The property has its own cottage garden as well as a private riverbank woodland from where you can fish - or relax by the water and watch the local wildlife.

Overlooking a field of friendly sheep who wander right up to the living room windows, and bird feeders which welcome a wealth of birds at every elevation, you will feel immersed in nature and wildlife. Go outside and toast marshmallows on the fire pit, or sizzle sausages on the brick charcoal barbecue. Then sink into the electric hot tub, turn up the jets and gaze at the stars.

Church View Cottage and Barn

Church View Cottage C 1750 and Barn is tucked away in a quiet corner of Hatherleigh’s picturesque market square. Peace and quiet and clear skies are what you will find. The cottage and barn are very well appointed and comfortable, and decorated to a good standard. Good walks or cycling from the door with great pubs, cafe, Co-Op, and chip shop within a few steps. It is also an ideal location for exploring further afield and for Devon in general due to Hatherleigh’s central location.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

A beautifully restored 1950s caravan and a hot tub in a vintage Land Rover! The Bluebird Penthouse has panoramic views over Taw Valley, Devon, a 50s-era interior, and a touch of luxury. Features gas pizza oven, double bed, bath, shower, central heating, covered outdoor area, gas BBQ, chiminea fireplace, and trap-door wine cellar! Our Cottage is situated within our garden in beautiful sleepy Sampford Courtenay. We are pet free (allergy free from pet related allergy) If you are looking for a quiet picturesque Devonshire village, with little interruption, close to Dartmoor for walking / cycling with a lovely traditional local pub, thatched of course, then look no further. If you are a runner we have the new local Parkrun at Simmons Park, Okehampton.
