Had an incredible experience at Joe's Jungle Treehouse. I wanted something quiet, more remote yet not too far out, with a jungle vibe. And this place is just that. I loved it and hope to be back in that hammock again soon! Thanks Joe!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience.

Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time here at this air bnb. The rooms are clean, comfortable and as described in the listing. The host is incredibly friendly and they've provided everything we need during this trip. In addition, the view from this house is also wonderful.

Convenient location with good access to both north and south Kauai. Pantry had a great set of spices and some small staples. Would stay here again!

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Have stayed here several times in different units. It works well for us. If you find older reviews complaining about the water pump being loud its no longer an issue. It was updated recently.

Great and very convenient location. It was so close to Waikiki Beach and other popular shops and restaurants. All within the walking distance.

Really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were very good at communicating and made it very easy to get a late checkout worked out with them. The place is in a great area with nice pools nearby. The place is a little small but was described that way. I’d recommend staying here. The only negative was the WiFi stopped working after the first night so we weren’t really able to use the TV the last couple night. It was a little frustrating but everything else was wonderful.

The place is as advertised and Peter was a gracious host. It was well stocked with everything I needed for a visit to Hawaii and is in a great walkable location. Check in was a breeze!

Dennis' place was pacious and clean. His kitchen had everything we needed. Dennis was friendly and helpful. Will stay at this place again if we come back to Big Island the next time

The room was very clean and cozy, with a beautiful view! The parking garage at the hotel is cash only, which was slightly annoying because we weren’t ready for that, but all worked out. Would stay again!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und sehr gemütlich. Alles funktioniert sehr gut, besonders die Küche war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Wir haben viel Obst geschenkt bekommen, sogar louche und sapote aus dem Garten. Beide Früchte hatten wir noch nie gegessen, geschweige denn von ihnen gehört. Es gab viel von vorherigen Gästen zurückgelassenes Schnorchel- und Strandequipment, das wir ausleihen durften. Fantastisch!

Wonderful stay! Would be happy to stay again next time I’m in Honolulu! Fantastic, responsive host! Area was absolutely perfect! Walking distance to so much, which is helpful because parking everyone I traveled was nightmare. It’s best to uber, just FYI! Next time I’ll know! Perfect place, perfect location, amazing host!

Beautiful remodeling and upgrades to classic and quaint apartments - they are wonderful! There are SO MANY "little touches" that really make a difference - from thoughtful amenities (free bikes!) to excellent and helpful communication. The area is quiet and peaceful, and the beach is a short walk away (with pastries & coffee on the way!). Margaret's recommendations on the area were very helpful, and her replies to my questions were quick. We really enjoyed the apartment and the property's surrounding area as well!

Karen is an excellent Host. The Apartment is perfect, modern, great location, well equipped, there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance but yet the Apartment is in a peaceful location. There is a beautiful beach literally minutes away. Can't wait to come back.

The owners were so welcoming and proactive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. They had some uncontrollable maintenance issue arise that they handled immediately and it did not disrupt our trip at all. The building and amenities were perfect. Our son loved exploring the beach and chasing crabs. Our daughter spent the evenings in the pool after our daytime adventures. We will be back and are so grateful to have experienced this slice of paradise.

We loved this place! Definitely will be rebooking on my next trip to Honolulu. This felt like a home away from home. Very cozy, comfortable and had lots of amenities that not alot of places offer. There are a lot of places near the Airbnb. We walked to most places. The host is absolutely amazing! He offered great recommendations for things to do and places to see. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall a great experience!

Our stay at this condo was wonderful- appreciated the central AC during a warm humid few days in Kona! Great amenities, plenty of beach/snorkeling gear, well-stocked kitchen, and comfy couch and beds. The guest room queen bed was a tad firm, but worked well for one of the couples. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai with a peek ocean view and the occasional rooster noises (bring earplugs if you like to sleep in! This applies to the whole island, tbh). Oh, and the pool area was great too when we needed a break from all the great beaches nearby! Would definitely stay again!

Janell’s place was great and really comfortable with fantastic accommodations. The location is central and walkable. Would definitely recommend.

I rarely review stays but Mitchell’s place was top notch. There are lots of Airbnb where you wonder how the host ever lived there. At Mitchell’s, it felt like a home away from home. It was the first place that had fully stocked all the amenities and had thoughtful additions such as: enough towel racks, lots and lots of towels, extension cords everywhere, TV in the bedroom, rice cooker, and more. Plus the place had everything exactly as described: fitness center, pool, BBQs, free parking, private lanai, ocean view, and coin (app) laundry. Wonderful place and great work on keeping it fresh. One minor issue not related to the place but to the season: during our stay in early October was renovation season so there was a ton of construction noise during the day time.
