The Retreat was truly amazing. Nested in a Cul De Sac, with extreme privacy and quiet, it provided the right setting for some good rest. Majorlein is a wonderful host and has designed the home expertly to ensure you have everything needed to unplug and thoroughly enjoy your stay. It is also quite spacious, airy, with multiple seating, lounging and resting areas. A truly wonderful location.

A beautiful location, a magical night sky, a lovely host! A cute Cottage with everything you need. My suggestion, add the hot tub fees to rate like most properties that have this feature. Will recommend this cottage to everyone!

Our stay at Mariaan’s place in Stilbaai was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the seaside whenever we wanted. The fresh ocean air was invigorating and really added to the whole experience. My family had a fantastic time! Thank you, Mariaan, for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay. Our stay of 3 nights was absolutely wonderful in every respect, the place is idyllic, peaceful and a good place to let go of all stresses , the lovely accommodation bears testament to the efforts of Gabriella & Steven and their team, every little detail beautifully sorted, lots of handmade items , the unit was excellent with everything we (and our choc lab dog) needed. The outside hot tub under the newly in-leaf pin oak under a rising full moon was magical and complemented a fabulous holiday Well done, we will definitely visit again, next time with some of our grand-children.

What a gem! Perfect location offering the best of both worlds - the serenity of a countryside setting and natural surroundings, yet a 5 minute drive into town for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. With breathtaking views of the mountains and farm (complete with horses, sheep, donkeys and more) from your patio, ample birdsong, a spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, well-equipped, cozy cottage with an incredibly comfortable bed and enormous shower - one couldn't ask for more! Nadia is a kind, thoughtful and attentive host...I cannot wait to stay here again :)

A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Greg & Sam, are amazing hosts. They let me know which dirt roads are the best for travel and kept me up to date with information about the area. As a keen hiker, I was invited to hike with them in Rooiberg Mountains and experience its pristine beauty, which is food of the soul. Thank you for the generosity of sharing veggies from your garden, and gift of staying at the Happy Place!

Stunning setting, great hot-tub. And the housekeeper, Patience, was super friendly and made isnfeel right at home. A great spot!

Natalie is an excellent communicator and highly responsive, making interactions smooth and hassle-free. She is incredibly helpful, considerate, and genuinely friendly. The village where her property is located offers a peaceful, safe, and picturesque environment. Her home exudes charm and character, adding a unique touch to the stay.

Great location and views. The place is comfortable with everything needed as described, it does however need a little TLC and general maintenance on things like loose taps, wonky outside braai (broken wheels), etc

Charmaine and Paul were both super friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, including lovely views of the mountain! Very modern and clean, with those of great reading material about what to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Carin's place in Still Bay. It is a bit rustic, but it was clean and neat our family enjoyed the location on a superb beach. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor shower. We appreciated Carin's help with a few issues and some items we left behind. Thanks Carin!

We enjoyed our stay at Anel’s charming rustic cottage. Loved the outdoor area and all the lush greenery. The pool table added a fun element to our night. Anel was very responsive and a great host.

We are forever fans of Wolverfontein, of these beautiful hosts, and of kicking off our shoes to soak up the peace of the area. It sits on a quartz crystal line and so the kids spent days going on walks to find crystals and hours in the plunge pool. Screens were quickly forgotten about (although the WiFi is great). We can’t wait to escape the madness again some time soon!

Spacious, comfortable, and great location. Well equipped kitchen with great coffee machine. Comfortable beds, lovely views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!! Yes, there are spiders, ants etc. but c'mon you're in nature along side a creek. I was in awe of how beautiful it was and I would encourage all to take a walk too. Ladder to loft, en-suite in forest bedroom, creek fire pit more for summer days. Minet and Gabriel were excellent, even though I felt like I was bothering them☺ We had coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and even a small carton milk with oil and vinegar lol truly the small things that matter. It so peaceful, had the pool to ourselves and the other neighbours are friendly too, had a group quite rowdy when outside but inside, you'd hear nothing. The weather turned and started raining but this made us appreciate the indoor fireplace even more. Will definitely be returning and to the area itself, just amazing scenery!

Die Stal…a small piece of heaven on earth. We loved this gem of an Airbnb. Whoever created this beautiful space, clearly has an eye for design, layout, style and quality. I felt so at home, as if you were staying somewhere in the Alps in Germany. We loved everything about this accommodation. The location is excellent, as we did a hike in Marloth Nature Reserve. Town is super close, should you wish to eat out and explore Swellendam. We however, loved sitting at the braai, enjoying our sundowners and simply soaking up being so close to the mountains, with the cows keeping us company. It’s an all round exceptional place to stay. The attention to detail is superb. You feel spoiled and looked after. We loved the sweet treat of the marshmallows. This Airbnb gets 10/10 from us! We would love to come back one day!
