We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

Lovely lodge in serene setting - very very quiet on single track road. Cycle paths very close. Sherwood pines centre close. Great stay with two grandchildren and family called in.

My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

An amazing place in the woods - just lovely- 10 mins drive to Alton Towers so perfect.

This was my first time booking an Air BNB, and I was a bit unsure since I usually stay in hotels. We had a fantastic time during our getaway; the pod was warm and tidy. Traveling with our 2-year-old was a breeze because the garden was fenced, allowing her to play outside safely. The setting was stunning, just a short stroll to the town, yet it remained tranquil and serene. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing on the deck beneath the garden lights. Luke and Sally were incredibly accommodating, providing great suggestions for local attractions. We chatted with Luke both mornings, and he was friendly and easy to talk to. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and as soon as we returned, we started checking for the next available dates to come back because we enjoyed it so much. We definitely plan to return soon. Thank you!

I stayed here with my partner for their birthday, Ian and Cathy were amazing and decorated our hut for us. They were so friendly and always on hand if we had any questions. The home was clean and well equipped. The views were amazing and so peaceful. We will definitely be returning!!

The place is a lot bigger than on the photos. The secluded garden was brilliant for my dog and the big field opposite was an added bonus to walk him. It is very peaceful and I would definitely book it again. Gabby was very quick in replying, when we got lost and needed fire-lighters for the log burner.

This place was really easy to access. This was actually a very last-minute booking and Sam was really accommodating. The space was ready to go for us, despite yeah I’ll see booking it at about 6pm. While we didn’t realise that it was nestled within a camping park, we found the space really quiet, private and lovely; the fact that it’s within a caravan park definitely does not take away from how conveniently located this space is as well as how clean and nice it was. We would stay here again.

Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Rod and Victoria have done an amazing job with the cabin and it just ticked all the boxes. You couldn’t ask for a better location sat between the water and the lovely horses behind us. How nice it was to be sat round the fire pit watching the boats go by tucking into some sausages from the BBQ. The little touches really made the place feel like home. The fresh bread and butter. The outstanding marmalade to accompany a nice cup of tea with some milk 😊 and the hot chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows sure did go down a treat with the kids! They provided all the fire wood we needed for the night so we could get the wood burner going which made the cabin feel lovely and toasty. They also gave you some feed for the animals which was such an experience for the kids and they loved it. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Easy and accurate directions to follow. Booked this stay as a last minute get away and we absolutely loved it, the pod is great and it has a gate to keep your dog inside! Toilet and shower rooms are spotless. The fishing lakes are lovely, Adele is great and is everything you look for in a host. Had a fantastic time and will be rebooking as soon as I’ve posted this review!

Beautiful lodge overlooking Pendle Valley, lovely furnishings, bedding, towels. Everything you could think of was available. The view was stunning & loved the outside area, fully enclosed which was great for our 2 dogs & plenty of outdoor seating & table to use. The site was quiet & peaceful and plenty to explore. The perfect Easter break.

We had an amazing stay at James'! He was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the cabin & the area. Great amenities, clean and the most relaxing weekend ever! The bed is so comfy and you are provided with everything you need. I can not recommend it enough :)

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Really great find. We were visiting friends who live nearby and this was a very handy place to stay. It felt very relaxing and the little touches like wine, coffee and a small breakfast option were really nice. We brought our 3 month old baby (and his own bed) and it was a perfect place to have a first small holiday from home. Beautiful garden and views from the windows.

Great place, equipped with everything you could need. wood provided and firelighters and matches provided for log burner. sheep right outside the decking. set on the back of an equestrian type farm place, nice and quiet. we walked to the white swan, about 15mins, great food. Rail Trail nearby was a nice walk. hot tub was great, press and hold the right hand button to adjust the temp, took us a day to figure that out, and the first button on left adjusts the bubbles. there was individual jams and butters in the fridge, prosecco, crisps and biscuits, tea coffee sugar and 2pints of milk provided. it wasn't immediately obvious how to turn on the towel radiator in the bathroom, but there's a tiny switch on the bottom right. shower was OK did the job, but kinda what you expect from an electric shower. The postcode didn't take us right to the place but if you just keep going along the same road you will get to the gate to the farm. 100% recommend, would stay again.

The hosts were extremely welcoming, the lodge was very modern and was spotless, the bar on site was a great addition to the site. The hot tub was fantastic but would have been handy to have shelter over it so we can use it when it is raining. But I would most definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing and luxurious trip away. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean on arrival with plenty of fresh towels for both the hot tub and the shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was checked twice daily, so felt assured the hot tub was clean and safe to use. James was responsive and helpful when messaged. There was a lovely walk nearby too. The space felt peaceful and private.

I recently stayed at a charming log cabin on Bazley Street in Bolton, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The cabin is a perfect little get a way and waking up to horses was an added bonus! Jason was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and eager to ensure my stay was perfect. We shall be retuning in the future :)
