Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. There is a folder in the cottage with a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. There are two pubs, two cafes and a general store in the village.
