We can arrange for your children with an extra sleeping area on site or make room for extra guests upon special requests. Make this your stay, or jump off for day trips and return to a peaceful wonder. The 2 minute walk from the back door through forest trail will bring you to the rustic tidal beach with a steel fire pit, always check local restrictions

Escape to The Watervale, a private adults-only (18+) retreat tucked among the trees at Watervale Springs Retreat. Designed for two, it's a place to slow down, reconnect and enjoy the quiet. Spend your evenings soaking in the private hot tub beneath the stars, relaxing by the fire table, or gathering around the shared wood-burning firepit. Inside you'll find a king-size bed, luxurious soaker tub with a rainfall shower, fully equipped kitchenette, and everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

This 3bed, 2bath home sleeps 6 & is the perfect place to relax, entertain & explore. Rocky beaches, kayaking, riding your bike or watching the time go by. Sit around our custom fire pit & count the stars if you dare to try. Ride the bikes down to the water & pick sea glass. Wine Harbour is now the home to the Whale Sanctuary Project! Ah yes, life is truly good.

Oak and Aspen Cabin

Nestled among the oak trees, at the top of a riverbank, you'll find a beautiful handmade dovetail log cabin overlooking the East River. Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

The Loft at the Gingerbread House is a small, seasonal studio space above a carriage house. As a more-affordable option to a hotel, it is the perfect spot to rest for a night or 2 as you explore Nova Scotia. Suitable for 2 people (pls note there are no kitchen facilities), this unique landmark is in close proximity to all of the conveniences of New Glasgow - including walking distance to the New Glasgow Farmer’s Market and many great local restaurants! Experience rustic-modern living in our cozy cabin with a view! Rest in our loft on a queen bed, or on the main floor on the double sleeper sofa. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, utensils, and propane cooktop. Enjoy entertainment with a 24" smart TV upstairs. Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or relax with a book in your favourite adirondack chair, and savor meals at the picnic table. Your perfect escape awaits amidst nature's beauty.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
