Inside, our newly renovated cottage is designed with your comfort in mind. Dark curtains in all bedrooms ensure a restful night's sleep on brand new, comfortable beds. The open layout of the kitchen, dining, and living area provides a spacious environment for social gatherings and relaxation. A well-equipped kitchen boasts high-quality appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine, catering to all your culinary needs. For entertainment, enjoy our cozy living area featuring a large sofa and a 65" Sony TV, complemented by underfloor heating throughout the cottage to enhance your stay's coziness. Our new renovated 85 square meter cottage is charming and welcoming, surrounded with beautiful Icelandic nature. The cottage is located at the top of the slope with a mountain, lake and woodland view. Direct access for nice hiking or romantic walk to the salmon river and the lake. It is close to many attractive destinations worth to visit. All beds are brand new and comfortable and heat in all floors. We wish our guests to feel like home and enjoy what the cottage and neigbourhood has to offer.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Many points of interest in the west and south of Iceland are within easy reach. Note there are 90km from Keflavik international airport.

Aurora Horizon Retreat

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

These Deluxe Rooms are new and comfortable. They have a double bed and a pull out sofa bed. The Rooms has a balcony facing either north or south. They are equipped with a kitchen where you find all you need for a regular cooking session. Furthermore, there is a washing facility on site, making it an ideal stay for longer periods. There is a hot tub for our guests to enjoy, along with a restaurant and bar. A stay at Hotel Laxárbakki has much to offer and it is sure to be comfortable.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need, including a TV, washing machine, and a well-stocked kitchen. Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Hóll Guesthouse

Come for a stay at a farm in the South-west part of Iceland. Enjoy the nature on a conventional Icelandic farm. During winter you might see the northern lights and experience the constant day during summer. Dairy cows, sheep and horses roam around on the farm in the summer but stay inside during winter. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.
