Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! The Byre is located in the farmhouse steading of Kirkton of Assynt, Inchnadamph, on the North Coast 500. Inchnadamph is renowned for its beauty, geology, wildlife, fishing, historical sites, walking and caving but is equally suited to those looking for a family holiday or quick break. Enjoy the peace and quiet with views of Conival, Quinag and Canisp at the head of Loch Assynt where the deer regularly graze a few feet away. Lochinver is 13 miles away and the nearest sandy beach 15 miles.

Eddrachillis House

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land from shoreline to hill loch. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. The cosy lounge has a wood-burning stove and patio doors onto the front terrace with stunning views. Gorgeous bathrooms and very comfortable large beds.

The wood burning stove will keep you cosy on colder nights. There is so much to explore in the area, two nights may not be enough!

The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

WiFi is available on site. There is a good signal on the Batbox path and in the car park, not inside the cabin.
