My stay at this eco lodge in Munduk was nothing short of magical! Nestled deep in the lush jungle, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of nature, surrounded by misty mountains and vibrant greenery, felt like a dream. The lodge’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness added an extra layer of charm to the experience. The hospitality was exceptional – the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the warm greetings upon arrival to the thoughtful recommendations for local hikes and waterfalls, every detail was taken care of. The meals were delicious, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and we loved dining while overlooking the jungle canopy. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The open-air bath was a highlight, offering a unique way to connect with nature. Make sure to go down and see the waterfall and natural pool. Such a unique experience. Highly recommend!

The stay was definitely a perfect match for me being a nature person. I was so gracious the host provided me with Balinese clothing for the temple. They were truly accommodating. Overall I would definitely recommend this location and even stay again. I appreciate you making my trip very special.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful and peaceful retreat. Our villa was situated right by a gentle river stream, allowing us to enjoy the soothing sound of flowing water surrounded by the lush ambiance of the jungle. The villa itself was charmingly designed like a traditional kampung house, adding a touch of rustic elegance and cultural warmth. The environment felt very safe and was perfect for families—ideal for leisurely walks amid vibrant flowers and greenery. What made the experience even more relaxing was the convenience of having an on-site pastry shop and restaurant. Everything you need is right there, making it easy to just stay in, unwind, and fully immerse in nature’s tranquility. It’s truly a wonderful escape for anyone looking to relax in a serene, natural setting.

We spent two amazing days here, and we only wish we could have stayed longer! The villa was spotless, with every detail carefully prepared for our arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was simply stunning, featuring a huge bathtub perfect for relaxing after a long day. Hot water was always available, which isn’t always a given in every place. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool on the terrace with breathtaking views of the rice fields – an absolute paradise for the eyes and soul. The host was exceptionally kind, always helpful, and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. This place is the definition of luxury and tranquility – perfect for relaxation and escaping everyday life. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Stayed in this beautiful place the 2nd time and next my visit to Ubud would love to book it again :) I think this is enough to understand how I really loved this place. It’s just amazing!

It was a once in a lifetime experience! You will see clear stars in the night. The treehouse is surrounded by running water and jungle, very refreshing & purified. The host is always there to provide help, they can arrange breakfast and flower bath. Amazing experience!

Wir würden herzlich empfangen. Obwohl wir erst spät ankamen bekamen wir authentisches Junglefood, dass sehr lecker war. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht und die Matschceremonie war ein besonderes Erlebnis.

Dikas home is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do justice for how beautiful the home and scenery is. Katrin was so helpful throughout our stay, especially when there was a nation wide electricity blackout. We are very grateful for all of her help. It was far away enough from the city where we were able to enjoy serene relaxation, but close enough that it was a quick taxi/grab ride away.

I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights! Its location is in the middle of nowhere, it's in the forest near the Jattiluwih and Babahan rice fields.We walked to them for about an hour, practically among them. At a distance of 30 minutes on foot is the Besikaluna Waterfall, which is sacred, beautiful, there was not a single tourist. It's a magical place in the middle of nature, you can only hear the voice of the forest, the crickets. It's an indescribable silence, it's only for those who want to break contact with other people, you can meet only a few locals because it's far from the village. We didn't find any tourists and we liked that. In the cottage there were squirrels, lizards and other animals, which is normal being an open plan. We fell in love, it's paradise! You need a car or a scooter to go somewhere else,we just stayed there and walked around nearby sights. It was magical!the staff was helpful, They cleaned our room daily and were nice. There is a warung 3 minutes away.Thank you!

Putu was a gracious, helpful and perfect host. We spent a magical week immersed in the beauty of Bali’s natural world, green in every direction. On the property are massive trees and rice fields. A crystal clear stream runs along the border. The house itself had everything we needed. We’ll return for sure. Thank you Putu for always checking to see if we needed anything.

Love to stay there with my husband, we enjoy the view and we love their dog so much, I will always miss you Bella 😍 eventhough without aircon is still fine and I can use the kitchen for cooking.

The authentic Bali experience in a beautiful setting and a peaceful environment. Here you have both a private space along with being part of the homestead. There are many places to explore/be even within his property. Many places to eat, a meditation nook & a swing* overlooking rice fields & a river the enjoy. One waterfall is only a 10min leisurely walk away, it’s a gem. When I first arrived I felt at ease and excited actually as he shared menues for -activities he guides -spa treatments on site (amazing & a must-enjoy!) -meals by his lovely wife and -access to a driver whom is a family member. Honestly I had to stay longer as I love his peaceful home with many conveniences (bonus’s) and the amazing experiences (Temples, Purification Ceremony, Bali New Years, Waterfalls, Rice Fields, Hinduism & other Conversations etc!) Absolutely amazing hosts - the entire family is involved in caring for your visit here. It’ll be hard to leave but I am grateful to have been. :)

We hebben hier een geweldige tijd beleefd. Alles was perfect. Om te beginnen was het huisje heel mooi en prachtig gelegen in de rijstvelden. Je werd s morgens begroet door de mensen die er aan het werk waren. Het huisje was proper, fijn zwembad en soms een bezoekje van een gekko, wat normaal is in deze omgeving en wij alleen maar konden appreciëren. De omgeving van Sidemen is prachtig. Midden in de natuur, niet toeristisch, niet druk. Je maakt kennis met het authentieke Bali. Tot slot is het onthaal hier geweldig. We voelden ons onmiddellijk welkom en thuis. Allemaal vriendelijke en hulpvaardige medewerkers. We hadden er graag langer gebleven.

bagus banget villa nya!! bersih, wangi jugaa, walaupun memang jalanan masuk nya sempit, tapi bener bener kerasa private nya!! viewnya juga bagus banget, pokoknya rekomen banget buat kumpul keluarga atau sama temen temen!!

Better than expected! The pool was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The only small issue was the lack of a curtain on the window facing the bed, but overall it was great value and we’d stay again.

Tempat menginap yang nyaman dan tenang. Karena berada dilokasi Situ gunung, masih asri dan asli. Anak anak happy banget menginap disini. Kami sekeluarga juga tidur dengan nyenyak. Kolam renang & kitchennya bersih rapih. Penjaga villa & owner juga ramah. Ditambah ada slide yang menambah hiburan kami sekeluarga. Terimakasih Kanahate Hills 🫶🏻 We will back soon~

Masa inap yang luar biasa. Anak anak sangat menikmatinya. Kami seperti berlibur tapi juga seperti di rumah sendiri. Setiap hari dapat pergi ke pantai dan dengan harga yang demikian itu sangat berhemat. Ke ramah tamahan luar biasa. Kami datang tidak dengan kendaraan, rekan tuan rumah pak Nyoman dan bu Nyoman sangat membantu, begitu juga dengan kk Alex, sedikit malu karena kami terlalu banyak dibantu bahkan kami meminjam scooter. Itu luar biasa . Terimakasih Malaya Cabanas, kami pasti ingin kembali

fantastic villa in Dieng, near city center easy to find food and gifts shop, you should try their jeep service to take you to many places in Dieng, especially for sunrise at sikarim.

Mooie plek in de jungle, klein leuk huisje, past precies voor twee. Je moet wel vervoer hebben / regelen om dingen te zien / doen. Warung in de buurt vonden wij fijn. Mexicaan/ Italiaans restaurant op zich prima, alleen niet wat wij zochten. Zij maken wel het ontbijt wat fijn is. Heerlijke plek!

An incredibly beautiful cottage home, nestled in the heart of a permaculture farm in a balinese village. A privilege to stay here, so close to nature and local culture. A highlight was Du's homemade dinner from his family, an amazing experience. Highly recommend staying even just for a night!
