It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

It is a popular starting point for walkers visiting the Victoria caves, Malham , 3 peaks , settle loop, 3 different waterfalls and wild swimming spots are all near by. Yan pod is an ideal woodland base for lovers of the great outdoors We are situated 4 miles south of Kendal, on the border of the Lake District National Park, and on the Bay Cycleway. Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. There are many local walks from the wood and easy access by car to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

Located on the village square Bear Cottage is in the heart of Ingleton, with cosy open plan living downstairs, 1 double bedroom, tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, the lounge area has a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, fast wifi, smart speaker. There are smart low energy electric radiators throughout, a small well behaved dog is also welcome downstairs.
