mark and Linda's place was very cosy and private was what we were looking for. exactly what we needed for our anniversary. was relaxing with the spa and spacious with the kitchen being able to cook meals. mark and Linda were very helpful with all the questions I had. thanks for a great stay

We had an amazing 2-night stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and full of charm. Nestled in a peaceful location, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. We especially loved the fireplace, the view from the bedroom, and the friendly cows and horses. perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to brisbane and goldcoast. Thanks Again Catherine!

Well this is a great little find for a couple or two people…. Suuuccch a cute cabin Krill has created…. , the minute you walk through the white picket fence and onto the cute front patio you see passionfruit vines and rosemary…. You walk inside and the compact yet cosy interior is a soothing sight. Then wander out to the back deck to see the beautiful shoreline and as a bonus, native beehive! We also made use of the firepit and kayaks. The shops and cafes are a short walk yet you are surrounded by birds, peace and quiet away from any hustle. A perfect getaway spot for anyone interested in recharging and removing yourself from all the clamour. We had a great Easter.!! Thankyou!

The Twilight Cottage and absolutely dream to stay at! My husband, dog and myself thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous space and being close to town was perfect 😊 Definitely one of the best stays we have ever been on!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful with a stunning view of the dam. It was just the right amount of off-grid for our boys to run around and enjoy the outdoors. They mountain biked at Mt Joyce every day (just across the dam). We also loved that we weren't too far from a great pub lunch (recommend the Roadvale Hotel).

The cabin is the perfect hidden escape. You feel so far from the world but are only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Samford. Rohan’s communication is wonderful and he was happy to help with anything we needed. Thanks for everything Rohan, all the best. 😊

This cottage (Oyster Hut) is private, cosy and boasts a stunning view from the tub, from the bed, from the dining table, from the whole house! This little shack completely immerses you in all the Straddie feels. Nestled in the surrounding bushland, it almost feels like you're camping—except you’ve got the perks of a resort-style pool, warm shower, and air-conditioning. The host has thoughtfully considered your needs, with all the essentials provided to make your stay super comfortable. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped and lets you whip up some seriously good meals. I’d recommend making the most of the incredible local seafood, and don’t miss out on a lamb roast from the Dunwich butcher—especially since the host thoughtfully planted rosemary right at the front door! It’s honestly amazing what you can cook on the Webber BBQ. The local agency managing the shack was great to deal with, providing clear instructions for easy after-hours access. They were also quick to help when we had a small hiccup with the locks—on a public holiday, no less. This little shack really packs a punch, especially for its budget price point.

Where do I start?! The location is so quiet + beautiful, the cottage was neat tidy + had everything we needed for our mini getaway. The bed was comfy, the outdoor bath was incredible and the shower was amazing. Kavita + Arif + the girls were super friendly and we had fun feeding the animals. Tank, Stormy, Sparky, Chippy, the pony, pinky, porky and of course Ollie made our little adventure fun and entertaining. We will definitely be back when we need to escape our children for some peace + quiet. Thank you for making our trip memorable. xx

Can’t recommend this place enough! The cabin is just perfect in its design and fit out and the location is amazing. Close to town with all the charming country-esk amenities and right on the doorstep of an incredible national park for exploring.

Was a beautiful place with stunning views of the damn and such a peaceful trip away! As it is a sustainable tiny home it can get quiet hot in summer but the outdoor bath was the perfect place to relax and cool down 😊
