The house is a marvel of a day gone by of hand-built workmanship & beauty but with modern conveniences. The home was built in the early 1960's. Trees were cut off the land and hand-milled into lumber and dried for 3 years. You will marvel at the beauty, workmanship & quality along with the hand-made furniture. The beautiful Black River Parkway is located 20 minutes away where there are hiking trails to 5 different falls, Copper Peak ski jump and Lake Superior beach.

The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.
