Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Our website has lots of information about our area. A long driveway to the only cabin on a tiny peninsula connected by a very narrow driveway. A small, shallow private lake (no fish or motorcraft) crystal clear water. A row boat is available. Several marked walking trails throughout the property. An ideal place for reflection and enjoying nature. You will be off the beaten path. Out of respect for those who are looking for a natural retreat with lots of wildlife: No Pets, Children, Smoking

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Wisconsin in this cute, comfortable cabin overlooking beautiful Lake Delta near Iron River Wi. Nice deck with a picnic table, charcoal grill, lawn chairs, and a view of the lake. Enjoy the evening in front of the fire pit telling stories , enjoying a beverage, or roasting marshmallows with the kids. Perfect for families, atv riders, snowmobilers, fisherman and hunters. This is an old resort with 10 cabins, it can be busy during the peak summer season.

The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Deer Trail Cabin 6 is on the shore of Lake Delta in the heart of Delta. Popular day trips include the Hayward lakes area, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Bayfield or exploring the endless trails, waterfalls and wilderness within Bayfield County. This is a furnished two bedroom cabin with full kitchen and bath. Great view of Lake Delta and next to swimming beach. There is direct ATV trail access from your cabin but we ask that you do not ride around the property.
