We stayed here prior to a cruise on Doubtful Sound. Very comfortable rural setting on a farm for two couples. A dozen farm eggs for us in the fridge, making for a nice meal of omelets, combined with some extras purchased at nearby Four Square. Plenty of cereals and yogurt. Highly recommended.

Such a relaxing home to enjoy with the family and the dog. We loved the garden, the hot tub, and the views! We hope to come back again soon.

Hier ist Seele baumeln lassen angesagt. Eine toll eingerichtete (wir lieben die Badezimmer!), sehr saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Alle nötigen Dinge wie Schampoo, Duschgel, Gewürze, Kaminholz sind vorhanden. Das Haus bietet reichlich Platz und ist trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Es gab ein Master-Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Badezimmer, sowie ein Schlafraum mit Etagenbetten für 1-6 Personen/Kinder im Haus. In dem kleinen Kubus / Häuschen im Garten befindet sich dann ein weiteres Master-Schlafzimmer mit TV sowie ein paar Möbel. Im Flur gibt es dann das Master-Badezimmer mit zwei Duschen in einer Kabine (einfach toll). Also perfekt für ein Paar oder 1-2 Paare mit Kinder (max. 6P). Der Blick aufs Meer ist fantastisch, in einer Minute ist man am Strand (nahezu allein). Absolute und 100%ige Weiterempfehlung!! Cheryl tut alles dass es einem gut geht! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This is a charming chalet style property with a lovely view. Grant is a really accommodating host. It's really clean and comfortable and a powerful shower. The location is really peaceful and it is a great place to chill out. Ideally located for the Doubtful Sound cruises and 20 mins from Te Anau. On the road to Te Anau you can pick up the Kepler Track (it's signposted off the main road), a lovely forest walk with a suspension bridge. We also rated Redcliff for food in Te Anau

We stayed here with our 3 children and had such an amazing time. They loved just popping over the road to the beach and we made use of the outdoor fire pit for a night of smore making. Generous sized bedrooms and a lovely view from each one. Amazing bird life and even had a visit from the farmers gorgeous dog who waltzed in through the laundry door! The sunrises are amazing and great to watch from the rocking chairs in the main bedroom. Lots of beaches and kid friendly walks to check out in the area, our kids were well entertained for the 3 days we stayed. Can't wait to come back again!

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish! The space was immaculately clean, stylish, and incredibly cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, with all the essentials provided for a stress-free visit. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The host was kind, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book again without hesitation!

Beautiful place with nice surroundings, close to the the lake. Convenient drive to town Center with many restaurants, supermarket nearby. Thank you for hosting us.
