We kunnen deze accommodatie van harte aanraden aan iedereen die in Uvita verblijft. Het uitzicht en de zonsondergang vanuit de hut zijn fantastisch. We zagen kapucijnapen, toekans en op de laatste ochtend zelfs 18 (!) scarlet ara’s in de boom voor de hut. De hut is goed ingericht, met een keuken en een regendouche. Het bed op de hogere verdieping zorgt voor een nog mooier uitzicht wanneer je 's ochtends je ogen opent. De communicatie verliep vlekkeloos. Ze waren steeds bereikbaar bij vragen. De weg naar de hut is goed te vinden, maar het laatste stuk is lastig omhoog te rijden. Een 4x4 is dus echt noodzakelijk. Kortom: niet twijfelen om deze accommodatie te boeken!

This was such a great place to stay, the view is AMAZING. It is a little of a trek to get to the property, but really not that bad as the road is well maintained. You will need a 4 x 4 but in all honestly if you are worried about the road, don't be. The house is nice and open, and the deck has great views for eating meals. The plunge pool was a nice treat as well. Jeff is a great host, and very friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to be above the clouds and have a spectacular view, while enjoying the sounds of the birds. Thanks, we will be back!

HIGHLY recommend this airbnb for trips to Uvita! It was a very quiet and safe location but close to all highlights of town. Easy to find and Tony helped with check-in sharing all the local pearls for food, hikes, and beaches. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5, clean, well-stocked, and lovely air conditioning! The pool, yard, and trampoline were amazing bonuses and our kids swam from the end of our busy days exploring until bed. On top of that, we loved a much beloved stuffed animal and Sasha and Tony were incredibly communicative and helpful in reuniting us. Will definitely stay here again on trips back to Uvita.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Casa Alta Vista. The home was very clean and well maintained. Because the house was so beatiful that we ate all of our local fish dinners at home. The kitchen was well appointed and had the oils and spices we needed. Small stuff but it matteres when you are traveling long distances. Can not say enough about the house, the view and the Domenical area. Loved it all.

As others have stated, the pictures really don't do this place justice! You have both a private pool and relaxing balcony, along with a beautiful beach beckoning through the trees. It was the perfect place for our family of five to unwind. Each kid got their own bed upstairs while mom and dad had some privacy downstairs. Gregory was extremely helpful with friendly advice, local recommendations and was even willing to lend us a machete to open up coconuts. Our daughter enjoyed walking down the beach to the surf camps where she took a lesson, although I would recommend some good sandals or water shoes for the pebbled areas that are unavoidable at high tide. I would caution swimmers to be very careful at low tide -- we got caught in a strong current pulling us towards some scary rocks. I'd recommend swimming at high tide or further down the beach. Overall a spectacular stay at a rare find right on the beach. And Gregory was great host.

La villa de Guillermo et son jardin sont magnifiques. À te commander sans hésiter. Mention spéciale à la femme de ménage d’une extrême gentillesse, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Guillermo a été de bons conseils pour les restaurants

Our family had a very peaceful stay. We enjoyed the pool in the early morning and evening. Very clean home. We appreciated the laundry option and dishwasher. The road up is very steep and would not recommend it at night. We saw toucans, parakeets and the howler monkeys (6) were in the big tree next to the house in the early evening. Bring insect repellant as you are in nature. Shower pressure and heat excellent. Very comfy beds. View of the ocean and mountains incredible as well as bedroom views. The kids swam at dominicolita beach which had huge waves- the Dominica beach was red flag and lifeguard only recommended going in to your knees.

We recently stayed at Villa Azul at the end of December for 4 nights. The location was great and close to town, yet very quite and peaceful. The access to the private beach was wonderful and a luxury for sure! it was a 5 min walk from our room! the views from the villa was amazing. We saw capuchin monkeys from our deck and scarlet macaws from the pool snacking on almonds. Amazing! This is completely on me as I did not see the floor plan closely enough in the listing, but I didn't realize that the two bedrooms don't have an interior connection. This was slightly inconvenient for us travelling with young children, but we made it work! just a heads up in case it helps anyone. Also, the interior could use some minor maintenance but nothing that prevented us from having an enjoyable stay! Pablo, the groundskeeper, and the cleaning lady were nice, and we appreciated the laundry service. Thanks to David and his team for making our stay memorable!

Todo estuvo excelente. El anfitrión estaba al pendiente siempre. Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente en el alojamiento que el anfitrión resolvió de manera rápida y amable. Nos sentimos como en casa. Altamente recomendado.
