Santuario de loros en Hawái
Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.
Trío delicioso en la finca: chocolate, vainilla y café
Aloha and Welcome as we gather around the information table at Sharkey's 100-year old farmhouse in the historic plantation village of Papaikou. Sample our freshly brewed 100% Hawaiian coffee or cacao tea, grown right here on the farm. From there we begin an easy walk through our orchards where you'll learn about Hawaiian coffee growth and production. Interwoven the coffee are rows of cacao trees. Depending on the time of year, you can usually see tiny flowers and large, multi-colored pods hanging from trunks and branches. Long, heavy vanilla vines grow up the cacao trees, nature's perfect trellis! We'll show you how each vanilla orchid is delicately hand-pollinated to produce long "hands" of vanilla beans. We'll then proceed to the "Slab" where the pods are 'cracked' before the fermentation process. Next we move into the greenhouse where flats of newly planted seedlings just beginning their journey grow alongside large screens filled with coffee and cacao beans slowly drying to perfection. Finally we'll move into our certified Chocolate Kitchen where the Magic happens! Who wants a taste? Free samples! Other things to note Refreshments (coffee/tea/water/juice) Tastings & Snacks Included Parents, please supervise young children at all times There are no stairs to navigate and the restroom is equipped with handrails Adults $75 + $3.75 tax=$78.75 Children $35 + $1.75=36.75
Terapia de caricias con vacas
Our pasture is located in Hl Pepekeeo, about 20 minutes from Hilo. Our Cow Cuddle Therapy starts with a basic safety tutorial, and then we enter the paddock to meet the cows. After a brief introduction we will then: -Pet cows -Hug cows -Lay Down and Cuddle Cows! -Milk the cows -Learn all about cows, their milk, and how they benefit the garden and the environment! (Note: we are a sanctuary for cows we never sell or kill any bovines. We do milk cows, but only the excess milk the calves cant drink. We call this cruelty-free dairy! In the past we have had vegan guests that loved the experience, but also have had upset vegan guests, so this is just a full disclosure!)
Por encima de las nubes de Hawái
An exclusive (5 person max) cultural experience that includes access via UTV then a moderate hike with Kimo, your Native Hawaiian host. Experience Hualālai mountain craters as few ever have! High above Kona, hidden in the clouds, lies this unique place. Come journey through craters, drylands forest, and historic lava flows amongst native birds and plants. This is not a tour, it's a cultural educational experience in this Sacred Place on private lands not open to the public. You will have the opportunity to support the reforestation of Hualalai back by planting a Native Hawaiian tree. An experience to be cherished forever. In addition, 100% of proceeds go towards supporting the non-profit that supports this area. If you want to experience the unique cultural and natural resources of Hualalai, then this exclusive experience is for you. I look forward to meeting you! The weather is unpredictable here so be prepared for both hot and cold weather. The fog and clouds may come in at any moment, but, the magic of walking in the clouds is surreal. Other things to note Consider your health and safety. This is a 90 minute hike at a high elevation on uneven, rocky ground. Craters have high cliffs and children must be monitored at all times.
Meditación con gong: relájate y pasa unas vacaciones de ensueño
The best way to start your Hawaiian vacation! Relaxed, joyful, calm, vibrant, peaceful, radiant... are some of the feelings expressed at the end. An overwhelming majority of the ,000 people who had attended my gong bath loved it! Many have reported incredible positive changes in their physical body and releases from their emotional being. Gong Bath is Gong Meditation or Sonic Massage. I will play two gongs of 40" and some smaller gongs, plus other sound instruments for an hour, while you sit back or lie down to relax and focus on the gongs' living, grounding tone. You'll easily get to a state of harmony, meditation, relaxation, and peace. At the end, I will invite the group to ask questions and share their experiences. It is a "bath" because the gong will cleanse you by releasing emotions that no longer serve you. Please plan to arrive on time a spend an hour and a half. Alice Tobin is a Certified Practitioner and Teacher of The Eden Method-holistic medicine, Sound Healer, and Reiki Master. A private Gong Bath is available by appointment Other things to note: You need a car to this site. I recommend lying or sitting on the floor to soak up the gong's vibration and will provide floor mats. You are welcome to bring your own if you have specific need. I also have a recliner with two seats if you rather sit. I have a friendly cat, Om.

Fotos y observación de estrellas en Mauna Kea
**For special perks, send us a message on Instagram @EpicTours before booking.** All experiences are led by James, an Analog-Astronaut and Pro Astro-Photographer. He will take you on a journey through the galaxy with his laser pointer and astro-camera that captures more stars than you can ever see looking through a telescope. See faint details of nebulas, star clusters and galaxies that will blow your mind. Epic photos will also be taken of you with the stars. All medium resolution photos taken throughout the trip of deep space objects and of your group are included in the price. Photo upgrades are available **This is the only stargazing adventure in Hawaii that doesn't do stargazing tours when the moon is brighter than 20%. When the moon is brighter than that, the night sky is too bright and the stars are too few to properly enjoy stargazing. All time slots are hand-selected for optimal stargazing views. Maximum of 14 guests per experience
Cocina vegana con productos hawaianos
This is a hands-on experience that starts with an introduction about Hawaiian plants and fruit trees and a tour of the sanctuary grounds. Once everyone gets acquainted with one another, we will harvest from our garden and head to the pool-side, open air kitchen to prepare the food we've gathered. We have a 3 mile coastline view from the kitchen area, and you can cool off with your feet in the pool. Dinner classes include Kona's breathtaking sunsets at no extra cost! Each experience will focus on a different type of cuisine, (Italian, Thai, Indian, Mexican, etc.) but each will consist of a type of salad, a main course (usually involving a starch, i.e. grain, pasta, bread, etc.), and a light dessert. We will, of course, be using as many vegetables as possible, and plenty of fruit as well, with as much locally grown produce as we have at any given time of year. As we prepare the food, there will be instructions and lessons on knife handling, small appliance use, how best to cut ingredients, what parts of fruits and vegetables to use, and what to compost. For those interested, it is perfectly fine to bring your own bottle of wine/beer. You will leave with new cooking skills, a full belly, and likely a few new friends. Voila!! Other things to note Banyan Tree Sanctuary Guest House has six guest accommodations if you would like to stay with us, or you are welcome to come to the vegan cooking class independently. This is an open air kitchen so bring bug spray and wear long pants if you are susceptible to being bitten.

Ruta nocturna para ver lava y a la diosa Pele
In this tour we will hike to one of the best viewing location for lava on the island, a lookout to where Madam Pele resides! The hike is less than an hour roundtrip and mostly flat terrain. I provide headlamps and ponchos if it rains. We will take photos along the way as the cameras pick up the volcanic glow beautifully and provide a wonderful memento for the occasion! I will also share mo’olelo (stories), cultural information, and the history of the 2018 lava flow which drastically impacted many things on island including the area we will be walking on. Please check my profile for more tour options. I also host lava hikes that are a bit longer than this tour with a more adventurous hike to a location you would not find on your own. This shorter hike often has other people and tour companies but the longer one does not have other tour companies. If you are confused about the options, please message me for clarification and to make sure you book the experience you are looking for :) Each tour is different depending on the moon phases, cloud coverage and lava intensity. My YouTube Bathing Suits & Rainboots has videos of my tours to help decide which is best for you. Some tours are similar so please reach out to make sure you’re booking the tour you want to experience. I CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY TOUR & SCHEDULE DATES NOT PROVIDED ON THE CALENDAR. Please message me for details.
