Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Gartartan provides stylish and contemporary accommodation with stunning sea views towards Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen (within 1 km) and beyond to Kintyre. Distilleries nearby. Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. Portbahn House, near Bruichladdich Distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. This modern waterfront house sits right on Islay's scenic coastal route with stunning loch views. Sleeps 8 across 3 ground-floor bedrooms—perfect for families. Large enclosed garden with trampoline and swings. Walk to Bruichladdich Distillery (10 mins), beaches, and coastal paths. Underfloor heating and wood-burner make it cosy year-round. Dogs welcome. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Old Gortan Schoolhouse

Welcome to Old Gortan Schoolhouse! Built around 1880, today the Schoolhouse is a characterful cottage. Located just one mile outside the village of Bruichladdich, with its progressive whisky distillery, the Schoolhouse boasts stunning views of Loch Indaal. From the dining room or garden bench, you can watch the tide, plentiful seabirds, and gaze across to the Paps of Jura and the other side of the island. With the gorgeous views and cosy interior, you won’t want to leave!

Coull Farm Cottage - Stunning Beach Views

Coull Farm self catering holiday cottage is situated on the farm itself. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay. The hills, sea and moorland surrounding the farm are filled with wildlife and flora. Apart from the farm animals, you are likely to see seals, otters, hares and deer as well as over 80 species of bird including golden eagles. 9 Local Islay Distilleries.

Lower Garden Flat

This lower flat has a combined kitchen and lounge. The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster and kettle. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. They are in the wooden shed nearest the flats. TV is provided. Extra blankets are provided for bedrooms. There is drawer and wardrobe space. The flat is heated by storage heaters. All bed linen and towels are provided. An outdoor seating area is provided and there is off road parking. Wifi is provided.

Whether you’re looking for a family break, a whisky enthusiast on the trail or a keen cyclist looking to explore the island, No7 Lagavulin is the perfect base for your Islay adventure. This traditional 3 bed ground floor distillery cottage features two double bedrooms and bunk bedroom (Sleeps 6) with separate living room, kitchen and main shower room. To the back of No7, you’ll find a good sized garden with views down to Lagavulin Bay.

The Cottage, which has free internet broadband, has an open plan kitchen/living area and is newly modernised with some classic features such as the multi fuel burning stove, vintage cast iron radiators and rope banister. Looking through the patio doors you get a view of Loch Indaal where you can witness most beautiful warm glowing sunsets in the evening.
