Also within short walking distance is famous “Ames Lily Pond”, the Isle Au Haut boat company, Island approach’s where you can rent kayaks, book boat tours and so much more. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of our shore on the Benjamin River Harbor. 2 seasonal cabins. 1 year round studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula, near Deer Isle, the cabins afford access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Keeper's House Apartment at the Lighthouse

Rent the keeper's apartment at the Swan's Island Lighthouse. The apartment is located on the upper level of the keeper's house and is well-appointed, tidy, and bright. Sleeps 2. Minimum stay 7 nights Sunday to Saturday. The grounds of the light station are Town property, and open to the public so while the keeper's apartment is private, the downstairs space and grounds will have visitors. You will be responsible for keeping the outside doors of the building locked when not open to the public.

There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
