The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

1935 Cottage Farmhouse at Willis Farms

Relax at this peaceful farm while looking from the backyard at the South Mountains. The renovated house is decorated throughout with family quilts, and antiques. Relax on the deck leading from the master bedroom or the back patio and enjoy the view. Visit the restored homestead on a guided tour where the hosts will tell you of the restoration project, ongoing. The farm produces award winning sorghum syrup and stone-ground cornmeal and grits. Lovingly restored mill house originally built in 1905. Unit is located in House 12 of the Henry River Mill Village. Per night rental is for 1 of the 2 units that each include a queen bed, two twin beds, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and 2 full bathrooms. Rental of both units on the same dates allow for full house occupancy by guests. General admission tickets included with rental from the date of check-in to the date of check-out (based on seasonal operating hours ).

"Just The Middle Bitty" is in a rural setting, among other homes with small farms, and a southern way of life, yet very close to all you need in Hickory (Right off of HWY 321). Set in the country, it is connected to a triplex apartment building on a dead-end road. The apartment has been entirely refinished on the inside with all new kitchen, stainless steel appliances, updated bathroom, and combines contemporary with shabby chic.
