James was extremely communicative and responsive, and gave clear instructions on how to get into the house, how to turn on/off the hot tub, and how to check out. The house was exactly as described and it was the perfect size for 6 people. The neighborhood and surrounding area was peaceful & quiet. There was coffee k-cups supplied which was a nice touch, and we had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. I would highly recommend this place!

The Marshmallow House is a great find! Clean and comfortable! Communication was quick! We had a great time! Hope to be back in the fall!

Super cute place! Having the 4 bedrooms was great for our small group of girls. The dining and living room had the right amount of seating. We didn’t have to hop in the car to explore town. All the restaurants and shops were within walking distance but the location was on a side street so it felt private. I definitely recommend Deb’s place!

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

Four of us stayed at Ryan’s place for a girl’s weekend and it was fantastic. The home needs some cosmetic updating but that mattered not at all to us- the place was clean and perfect for us to just hang out. The views are beautiful and it’s an easy drive to downtown Galena. We especially loved how there are labels on things in the kitchen and light switches to make it easy to know where to put things or what turns something on, etc. We also loved being able to leave the house at check out and not have a laundry list of things we must do to clean up. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so make sure if you are coming you bring your own. We just borrowed from a neighbor until we could get into town and buy some. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we so appreciate the hospitality.

Perfect stay for our girls’ getaway! We stayed here to celebrate our bride-to-be, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing—just a short distance from the shops in Galena, which made exploring so easy. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy time together, and make special memories. Highly recommend for any group looking for a charming and convenient stay!!

Everything was great, the view was awesome, so great to overlook main st and be so close to downtown. Easy in and out. Street parking was absolutely fine even on a busy Saturday night. Great stay, would stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Suite Victory in Galena, Illinois. We visited in the off season so the town was pretty quiet. Suite Victory in centrally located and once we found our private parking space and managed the hilly entrance to our Suite, we were all good. Our Suite was clean, comfortable and easy on the eyes, very restful, just what we needed. We loved the U.S. Grant Museum and bookstore, a short walk from our stay. We bought a stack of books and laid around and read most of the time. Breakfast at Charlie’s Place downstairs was awesome (we went twice!). I cooked one night, had everything I needed, but a can opener. Ashlee helped me get to a gourmet cook’s shop next door to Charlie’s to find one. We ate at Fried Green Tomatoes one night and Paradise Bar and Grill another, both were good.

This was our first trip to Galena. Loved staying downtown where we could walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and stores. The accommodations had a creative and whimsical vibe and were just as described, easy to access, and clean. Just what we were looking for.

We had the best weekend in Galena. So glad we stayed at the Ulysses Suites. Our suite was amazing! Great location - right in the middle of all the stores and restaurants. Check in and out was easy. All the rooms were clean and decorated perfectly. I have recommended to several people since getting home! We are already planning our next trip back and can’t wait to stay here again!

If you are looking to be near all the shopping and restaurants, this location is extremely ideal. Minutes from it all, and we walked down main street several times in the 2 days we were there. There was neighbors upstairs but you could not hear them walking around when you were sleeping. Overall very pleased with this home and great for a party of 2 staying for the weekend; the host was in communication throughout the stay which was greatly appreciated.

Robin’s place is perfect for those who want to enjoy Galena and not have to spend time driving in and out of the city. It’s perfect for two, as described, and is very well maintained. Thanks again for making my first Galena experience a good one!

The Gameroom was a great place for our annual girls weekend! We really enjoyed being able to go to the shops and the bars but when we wanted a break from the crowds we could be back at our place within minutes! Great place to people watch and playing pinball, billiards and shuffleboard was a ton of fun too without having to leave the living room. I would highly recommend this place! Don was a great host and very responsive and hospitable! I will be going back someday for sure!

This is our third time staying here, it's been great each time. It's great to have a familiar spot when we need to come to the area.

Our family had a fantastic job at Dan's place. The location is great - close enough to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, but very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The unit had everything we need and was much larger than the pictures made it seem. Galena had great shopping and restaurants. Galena Territory Owners Club indoor pool was perfect for the kids. I'd recommend staying here anytime we make it back to Galena Territory!

Absolutely amazing stay in Galena! We felt right at home. It was a perfect distance away from downtown, which was easily driveable, and absolutely quiet surroundings. We had everything we needed and was a great set up! Great communication with host and detailed responses about restaurant recommendations, directions to the home and check out instructions. Absolutely a must stay when traveling to Galena!

i liked that it was accessible to main street. walking distance. it was however very noisy. Semis running by all Friday night. I loved the decor of the rooms. it had that old feel to it. reminded me of Grandma's place with the creeky floors. very roomy.

Super cute condo! The area was nice, about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Galena, so it was nice being away from the crowds.

The place is about 5 miles from Galena but not a bad drive to town. If possible, stay in a suite that has a view. Beautiful to wake up to & star gaze at night. The pool is big, the hot tub is hot, the fitness center is well-equipped, & the kid's rec room also. The lobby is huge with a nice fireplace. The suites are large & like a nice, small apartment. It was fun going thru the many shops downtown. Make sure you take some time to tour Galena's many beautiful old homes & buildings. Visit the visitors center by the river in the old depot & have breakfast or lunch across the street at Ottos'. Love this town!

Had a wonderful stay at Barbra’s place. Very inviting an well decorated, beautiful view over the Mississippi River where we viewed gorgeous sun rises and hunter moon reflection over the water. Highly recommend staying at Barbra’s place if your travel’s bring you to this area.

The location is absolutely ideal for people who want to come and bum around downtown Galena. Three king beds allowed 6 guests to sleep very comfortably and all the beds were comfortable. The place was super cute, very well decorated and very clean. We will book this place again if we ever return to Galena!
