We had a great stay in Brora and would definitely recommend this apartment. Views out over the golf course and the sea, easy walk to local shops, restaurant etc and the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.

Stayed one night to break up a journey along NC500. Lovely accommodation in a spot close to harbour. Our daughter loved the spacious upstairs bedroom area

Had booked Harbourside accommodation. Due to a construction issue my booking was transferred very helpfully to the Forge accommodation - same facility same management company. Very efficient Excellent customer service and communication

A great place to stay, the apartment is very modern, clean and very warm. There is plenty of allocated parking and is close to all amenities. This is my second stay here and would book again for my next visit.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Scarva. Elaine has thought of everything. The apartment is cosy, comfortable, and quiet - a perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring. Better than the images (if that's possible). A real home from home. We would love to return. Thank you!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert. Das Studio ist mit den wichtigsten Alltagssachen ausgestattet und wir brauchten nur noch einkaufen zu gehen. Bei Fragen waren die Gastgeber sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

The Noddle is in a fantastic location, a short distance from the ferry and quite central on the island of Hoy & South Walls. There was only 2 of us and dogs, so it would be excellent for families & friends, but the space was great. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and baking, the lunch was bright, but the light in the conservatory was so good, comfortable day bed for relaxing, reading, drawing and soaking up the view. We took wood with us for the fire, but didn't use it as the house was lovely and warm. The garden was lovely, easy access to the burn and beach. walking distance to 'Emily's' tearoom, where we had an excellent dinner, great for special occasions (booking recommended), also walked to Scapa Flow visitor centre for lunch (quite basic). There's a lovely cafe at top end of Hoy, Beneath'ill, recommended if you are going to Rackwick - amazing beach. Been to Hoy a few times, loved our week at The Noddle. Tony was quick to respond to any queries. We'll be back.

This is a great location literally on the NC500. Quiet at night with stunning sunsets and sunrises. The bungalow has everything you need and it is lovely to sit in the sun lounge and relax after a day exploring. Garden is enclosed and safe for dogs. We were met on arrival by Steven and shown around. There are some stunning beaches locally and plenty to do for the three days we stayed. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect for us. Great location, great space for the 6 of us. Enjoyed our meals around the kitchen table and comfortable in the lounge.

This was a lovely house and a good base for exploring Caithness. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The house was lovely and warm to combat the chilly weather outside! Our hosts were friendly and check in / check out was simple. There was plenty of room for the 10 people in our party. Our children particularly enjoyed the sand dunes at Dunnet Bay and rock pooling at Ham Harbour - even in the rain. There was a nice walk from nearby Lybster Harbour along the cliff tops.

We spent Christmas with our family at David’s place, and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication with Meghan was excellent—she was quick to respond and consistently supportive throughout our stay. They even went above and beyond to do us a great favor, which we truly appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Stunning house perfect for a getaway to Orkney. Great location with beautiful views. Everything was thought about and provided. The rooms were super clean and very well presented. We will definitely be back.

Perfect home base to discover Orkney! There were restaurants nearby if we wanted to eat out, a grocery store in walking distance when we wanted to eat in and We were close to the Neolithic sites that Orkney is famous for! The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and though we didn’t have children with us it would have been perfect for a young family as well! We can’t say enough about Dawns place. We had a wonderful, relaxing time! Thank you!!

Excellent home base to explore islands. Stocked, well equipped home with ample provided for. J was extremely responsive, spot on. Beautiful, quiet location, private. Come up through St. Margaret ferry and have a good time.

The flat was warm , comfortable and quiet. It was nicely presented and well equiped. We felt completely at home and got a timely response to any questions. We had a lovely few days away over Christmas and Margaret had made a special effort with seasonal decoration which was much appreciated .

We have stayed in a lot of properties in Thurso and this is by far the best one we have stayed in, we would highly recommend. Plenty of space and everything you could need during your stay. Exceptionally clean and easy access. We have already booked for our next stay.

Perfect stay, beautiful location and well equipped, spotless

Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

A beautifully presented property bursting with character. Massively spacious and centrally located. If I were back again I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.

Great home base for a stay on Orkney! Very convenient location, especially for an early morning ferry departure. Short walk to a good grocery store and souvenir shops. Lovely decor and lots of amenities. (It was extra helpful to have a washer & dryer!). Rachael was very communicative and kind as well. Thanks so much!
