Michael was a very responsive host and very helpful. The house has an adorable older charm and I adore those types of homes. The hard floors were gorgeous and the arched doorways. The front porch was lovely to sit out and rock on the chairs. The location was quiet and peaceful in a residential neighborhood near downtown. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room in the garage in the back. There was plenty of information on places to go visit and/or eat in a binder and in an online website as well. We had everything we needed to eat there with all the kitchen supplies, etc. They also had games and puzzles inside. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Home was very spacious with large rooms. Quick drive to New Bern. Space was as described. In the area for daughter’s wedding - great space for her to get ready, including a large space in primary bathroom for hair and makeup - it was perfect. Smoke detector went off at 1 AM on our last night which wasn’t fun and a couple of live roaches. The shared backyard can be a little awkward as tenant over garage was burning items in the outside fireplace, so we didn’t sit outside. Great parking under car port with extra spaces for visitors. Overall, great stay and if I need such a large space in the future, I would stay again.

Great place to stay! Easy to follow instructions, the house was clean and in order. Sarah was very polite and quick to respond to any questions that I had.

This house was very comfortable. The mattress was probably one of the most comfortable mattresses we've slept on in an Airbnb. I loved all of the decor in the house. It really made the place feel cozy. There's a Kureg and a variety of coffee and hot cocoa. I liked that there were caffeine free options available! The place was fenced in and great for our dog as well. The neighborhood was nice and the host offered to give us names of real estate agents and anything else we had questions about during our stay. This is a great little home.

The home itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, meticulously decorated, and every detail thoughtfully covered. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thanks to the comfort and care put into this space, our family was able to enjoy an unforgettable trip to Jacksonville, including meeting the new great-grandchildren (twins!) and celebrating five generations together for the very first time. The hosts’ outstanding customer service and the pride they take in maintaining their home reflect exceptional hospitality. We are deeply grateful for such a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again on future visits. Thank you for helping make our family memories even more special!

OK fellow travelers, listen up, Elizabeth has created a wonderful landing spot for all your adventures in and around New Bern. A clean, comfortable and roomie spot to renew and refresh after a days outing. The queen beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walking. The cottage has what you need to fix your eats, but there are many good places to find a great meal. MJ's was one of our favorites. Elizabeth is a delight and so willing to resolve an issue should one arise. Very spacious for two. Four would be most comfortable. Nice back yard for kids to play around. The Lakes RV & Campground is a very nice place to stay. We stayed in a “tiny house” along a lake that is brand new. They had all amenities including dishware, towels, blankets, screened in porch, grill for charcoal, etc. and a really nice pool on the property! Michael was a great “Host” and was readily available to assist us with our needs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to all!

For anyone looking for a Clean, Great place to stay with a A class host this is definitely where you want to be! Cabin was Spotless and felt like home! I’m in town for work and had the weekend off and decided to stay here and I do not regret it a bit!

Beautiful location with great views! The cabin fit myself, my husband, and our daughter comfortably and was stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and other basics such as sheets and towels. There was no oven but there was a toaster, stovetop, microwave, and single-cup coffeemaker which worked out great for cooking meals at the cabin. The screened-in porch was perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning and meals throughout the day. We enjoyed the walking trail and hanging out at the dock. We saw cool wildlife such as herons, frogs, and turtles. The cabins have a great location onsite, and they include a decent amount of space outside around the cabin. We enjoyed chatting with our neighbors in the cabin next door. The manager, Michael, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He responded immediately when we reached out, literally within seconds! He was also flexible with early check-in and late check-out. All in all, this was a great place and I'd highly recommend it!

Amazing little property, amazing amenities, such a cute designed cabin, and the best this ever a S'mores kit!!! A littlw trouble with the hot tub but hoat were reaponsive to offer a solution! We look forward to staying there again!
