Renovated Japanese house

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is a guesthouse which renovated an old Japanese house. It is located in the suburbs of Osaka. It takes you 20 minutes from the centre of Osaka by train. It is very convenient to get to Osaka and Nara. As there are plenty of ruins and old houses nearby, we recommend cycling to see them. Of course, you can borrow a bicycle. Within walking distance there are wineries and traditional houses so you can enjoy town walking.

It accommodates up to 8 guests and features tatami, shoji screens, an engawa veranda, a small courtyard, and a full kitchen with an IH cooktop. Enjoy convenient access, privacy, and the charm of old Osaka, with Karahori Shopping Street nearby for local cafés, shops, and neighborhood walks.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
