This property was an amazing space for my friends and I to enjoy the lake! I think it's the best spot in the entire area to relax and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Deborah was extremely helpful and kind! We will definitely be coming back here soon.

The place was peaceful and looked as pictured. The owners were quick to respond. We love the cows! The place is perfect if you are attending a wedding at the Springville Ranch. You can walk right across the street. It was quiet. We would definitely go back. The town is small but so cute.

I was looking for a clean, quiet, and peaceful place to spend a month and Paul's was exactly it. Paul and Caroline are nice and friendly people.

We stayed at Paul's house for a month and liked it very much. This place has a great kitchen (number and quality of utensils, spices, coffee, oils, etc. - we enjoyed cooking there). Both beds were comfortable, there were also two desks suitable for work. Great views from the windows, walkable grocery, the lake is beautiful, and many cool hikes nearby. Internet may be slow at times due to the weather though. The washer/dryer inside was a nice bonus. Paul is a super host, check-in was easy and he even got us extra coffee! Thank you both Paul & Caroline.

It is a lovely place which accommodated 8 of us including a two- and four-year-old and my 90-year-old mother. It was heavenly looking outside and seeing the swift flowing river behind the house. It is very close. We spotted three black bears on the other side. That was really cool to see. Access to the river is difficult from the backyard. It is better to just appreciate the view from a little bit of a distance. As in the description, the home hosts two master bedrooms, one upstairs, the other downstairs. The third bedroom is very small but accommodated our adult daughter who was solo on this trip. All in all, we loved our four nights there. The kitchen was well stocked and when we needed a little something, the market was a few minutes away. I would highly recommend this home and hope to be back one day.

We were a family four and spent three nights at the River House, and had a great time ! We spent a day in the Sequoia National Park, and the rest exploring the river, horseback riding and relaxing. The River House is very nice, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a spacious dinning/living room with games for kids and books with local interest. The host was very responsive to all our questions and helped us find activities for our kids who are animal lovers. Recommended for families who love the outdoors, and relaxing in a peaceful environment.

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood and the creek that runs on the backyard is beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed all the games , toys and snacks left by the host . We highly recommend this place for a fun family getaway.

The house was comfortable and included all the amenities of home with the added benefit of heated floors in the bathrooms - what an unexpected treat! The location is beautiful and the serenity of the river and star-filled sky are priceless. Would definitely recommend!

We will definitely be back and were sad to leave. We loved this cabin! The backyard is gorgeous! The house itself is comfortable and cozy. The beds were great and we all slept well. The main bedroom is HUGE. You could bring an inflatable bed if you needed to and it would easily fit. Others have mentioned the twin beds in the front room...they're off to the side from the kitchen and living space so it isn't like they're in the middle of that space and are bigger than they appear in pictures FYI and the second bathroom is near so that is also convenient. My large boys (ages 13 & 15) liked hanging out on the twin beds in the front room. There is a General Store right across the way with great milkshakes and food too. It was fun to buzz over there and grab a treat or breakfast or a burger. We can't wait to come back.

The family loved. Would definitely recommend and stay in future. :)

We recently stayed at this house for Spring Break with a couple of families to go hiking in Sequoia. The house was even more beautiful than the photos. It was an easy 15-20 min drive into the park. The house fit all of us and was such a great setting with the river in the background. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great house near the park!
