Located on the North Fork of the Kaweah River we are off the beaten path but only miles from local restaurants, gift shops, markets and, of course, the gate to Sequoia National Park. Our two bedroom suite includes a large common room complete with dining table and a kitchenette (mini- fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and bar sink). Johnson Family Home

The Johnson Family Home was the residence of Johnnie Johnson, Whiskey Flat Mayor of 1986, and famous local bartender, Gentleman John. The house is located in Riverkern, a quite residential community three miles upriver from Kernville, and is a short walk to the river and private Bubbles Beach. The home has remained in our family since Gentleman John's passing in 2009, and has been consistently maintained and upgraded by his son, Chris, a retired Santa Barbara school teacher/artist.
