I could go on and on and on about this experience but I only have 1000 characters! Let me start with the place - the cottage was modern, charming, warm and in a great location. Everything in it was top notch - linens, bedding and especially the kitchen contents. Copper Harbor is a special place. If you hike, mountain bike or paddle you will be in heaven. Everything in The town is walkable. Just so charming! Jenny was an exceptional host. The care and consideration she gave us was over the top - in the best way! She was so excited to give us hiking, kayaking, shopping and eating recommendations. And I understand why - everything we did based on her suggestions was amazing! This was truly a memorable experience and we will definitely be checking in with Jenny again!

A great place to stay and centrally located. Great place for a break... but close enough to all that the Keweenaw has to offer.

Even though it was the off-season and many businesses were closed, my partner and I were still able to find things to do! When it was nice, we walked the frozen beaches and looked for agates. When it was snowing too hard, we got to stay in, play some games, and cozied up in the cabin! Great location too, as it is in between many great scenic spots.

So many good things to say… Location was amazing, near Mt. Bohemia and surrounded by Michigan’s most dynamic landscapes. For the host, Karin had very clear instructions and quickly responded to any questions/chats. Karin and her co-hosts could teach masterclasses on running AirBnbs. We brought everything with us that we could think of (air fryer, rice steamer, nonstick pan, disposable coffee cups, etc.) and she already had every item ready for use. We took notes for updates on our home because this place was amazing. A summertime rental would probably be insane. You could tell the place had the outdoor area going on but we were there mid-February. Kudos to this place and its management!

We loved this property. We walked on the beach in the mornings and watched the sunrise. After spending the day exploring the area we looked forward to coming home to a very private, peaceful, relaxing and beautiful home. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. We had a fire in the evenings and listened to the waves roll in and one night we sat by the fire and watched the northern lights. It was amazing. The people that rent this property are very kind, responsive and proactive. They have put a lot of thought into provide everything you could possibly need. We are already talking about coming back. The best thing about it was being right on Lake Superior. Sitting on the deck and just enjoying the view of the lake was wonderful.

I highly recommend this place through Dean. Check in was very straight forward and the house was much larger than expected. Always warm and cozy! The view of the lake and mountain are absolutely breathtaking. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment for a couple nights of home cooked meals! There were a few items we needed and there was a small convenience store very close which worked out great. This house and the quick responses from dean were great!

I have only absolutely wonderful things to say about our stay here! The location, on the shore of Lake superior, near Mt Bohemia but also near to other attractions was fantastic. The house itself is lovely as is the sauna house. I have never stayed in an airbnb so well appointed. The decor was lovely, nice bedding, games, books, etc. The kitchen was better stocked with pans etc than my own. It was perfect for many lovely family meals. We had an incredible stay! I hope we will come back many times in the future! Thank you!

Wonderful place with Lake Superior access that feels secluded but is only a few mins to town. Was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

Philip is an awesome host and the cottage was delightful. He puts a lot of attention into the details and it shows! We lacked for nothing and he was responsive to our special requests. I can’t wait to come back with my kids and put some kayaks on the bay during the late summer. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful stay on the UP! My fiancé and I are getting married this year and this was the perfect get away before things got crazy! Would definitely recommend for a couple trying to escape the hustle and bustle of their lives! The creek rushing parallel to the cabin was our favorite part! It provided the prefect background music to relax to!

Carol's place had everything we needed for a great trip to the Keweenaw. Check in was easy and the place was clean.

Nora was fast to respond and provided information on where to get firewood. Cottage is great for families with grade school kids on up. Not for toddlers or kids that wouldn't listen not to walk in the woods or not jump off the stairs. Parking was beside the house which was fine, but good to know when you approach. Would be challenging for a vehicle with trailer. Our oversized van was fine though. Lovely view and family could easily walk down to the beach for swimming, fishing, or watching the sunset. Owner provided a lot of games, books, and puzzles. We tackled three puzzles while there. Early July and the fans and open windows were plenty good and had some brisk evenings where we needed long sleeves to be out. Also needed bug spray but that is typical. Onsite laundry was helpful to wash up swimming gear and clothes midweek so we could pack less. Not a lot of hanging space or open drawers so suggest to pack less and wash clothes while there.
