What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

Great stay at The Squirrels. No hassles checking in and place was very clean

Pictures of the view from the main living room/dining room was what drew me to the property and the reality did not disappoint. The house was very homely, comfortable and Isabella was friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated that there was plenty of comfortable seating for the number of people the house can accommodate to sleep. The dishwasher did not work during our visit which was an inconvenience as we were a large family group who cooked regularly during our visit, so clearing up took significantly more time than we would have liked, but once Isabella was made aware, she did not hesitate to get it seen to as soon as possible. Unfortunately it could not be repaired during our visit but I cannot fault Isabella's reponse to the situation, it was just unfortunate. I would definitely recommend the property; it is clear a lot of thought has gone into the property to make it as comfortable as possible for guest. Thank you.

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The kids loved the horses next door, the lake was gorgeous and perfect to drink coffee by and it was so quiet and peaceful! Perfect getaway and Neil was amazing and responsive and even told us where some cool hidden places were! Would definitely recommend!!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, and had a great time exploring the area. the space was easy to relax in, and had many options within a close walk. thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s caravan. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Jennifer was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always happy to help. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!

Great 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We recently stayed for three fantastic nights at Erigmore Spa Cottage in Birnam, Dunkeld. The Cottage had cosy feel, sunny bright spacious rooms, private back yard with a large hot tub! Located in a quiet park, with plenty walks around the area. We came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. We hope to return sometime in near future.

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

I went there with my friends to unwind from university and it was unarguably on of the best place to stay. the view from the kitchen was stunning and so comfortable to stay either with friends or family. Although the weather was not on our side but staying home, have a catch up session and cooking together was so much better because the place is so cosy and feels like home.

Great location and super accommodation for guests with dogs. The lodge was very clean and lovely and warm. Elizabeth was a very responsive host making some great suggestions for walks and restaurants that allow dogs.

We had such a great stay at Fairways Lodge. The house was super clean, really spacious, and worked perfectly for our big family group. The backyard was amazing with plenty of space for the kids to run around, and there were loads of toys and swings that kept them entertained. The kitchen and dining area were lovely and well equipped, and we really appreciated the welcome gift of wine and shortbread, such a thoughtful touch! Sharon was a fantastic host and made everything really easy with her clear and friendly communication. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting St Andrews. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful family home,. The peace and quiet was amazing as was the nature we were surrounded in. Your neighbours were so friendly too. Also thank you for also allowing us to stay for so long. It was perfect for our adventures. Can’t recommend enough.

We had such a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. I requested some robes for us arriving and the person I spoke to on the phone was lovely and sorted it all for us. It was so peaceful and all secure for our dog and little boy to run around. The hot tub was a great bonus as well! Thank you so much!

Wildcat Lodge is a lovely wee place, nestled away from passers by in its own special valley full of lichen covered trees and stunning views. But close enough to the A9 to make it a great spot to discover the many hiking trails, ancient woodlands and hills of the Cairngorms. We would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely wee cabin, local wildlife outside the window, everything walkable, good handbook with recommendations and menus of resturaunts and takeaways, smart TV easy to work, overall great experience felt like your own wee corner of pitlochry while still being a stones throw away from shops, pubs and resturaunts.
