Klienmond is a gateway to the Garden Route and to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Western Cape, as well as being a hikers paradise and a golfers dream. The house has been recently renovated to ensure your stay is a restful experience.

Birdsong

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

Walking distance to the breath-taking Silversands Beach. 3min drive to the penguin colony. 10min drive to Botanical gardens. 20min drive to Palmiet river swimming and hiking. This much-loved family beach house is separated from the ocean by only a narrow strip of coastal fynbos. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to watch the whales from the balcony overlooking False Bay (the whales visit from Aug to Dec). The downstairs bedroom has two single beds while the upstairs room has a queen bed and a small lounge area overlooking the ocean. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
