Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Modern Holiday House in Lapland

A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Onnela Tilava viihtyisä omakotitalo Ylitornion komeissa maisemissa. Talossa on neljä erillistä makuuhuonetta, iso olohuone, keittiö, ruokatila, kaksi vessaa ja suihkutila, jonka yhteydessä on puulämmitteinen sauna. Iso takapiha on aidattu, joten lemmikit voivat juoksennella vapaasti. Venerantaan ja Ylitornion hienoille hiekkarannoille on matkaa vain noin 1 km. Ainiovaaran upeat hiihto- ja ulkoilumaastot sijaitsevat lähettyvillä. Aavasaksan laskettelurinteille on noin 15 km matka.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Little Scandic paradise with forest magic and lake view with it's sporty activities, all year round. Already entering the yard gives you a welcoming view in 180 degrees. Natural yard, old trees and sandy beach connects you to nature and you can finger velvety moss and brushwood, also pick the berries just around the house! After the days' activities, bathe in genuine woodburning sauna with soft steam, dip into hot pool or lake under the arctic sky, in all seasons.

Spacious granny cottage with sauna for rent in the countryside of Kemijoki, near the old railway station. Good central location halfway between Kemi (69km) and Rovaniemi (50km) near the 4 road. If necessary, transport is arranged through us. Rowing boat and bicycles for renters. Local company offer different activities according to the seasons. Feel free to ask! We agree on a case-by-case basis whether we allow pets. Public beach within walking distance.

Nauti illasta nuotion tai takan ääressä, katsele luontoa ja Lapin taivasta, hyvällä onnella näet revontulet. Löydä metsäpolut ja lämmitä puulämmitteistä saunaa. Aitoja lappilaisia kokemuksia ilman kaupungin ruuhkaa. Keskellä ei mitään, mutta kuitenkin kaiken keskellä!
