This beach house was wonderful. It was very accessible to all areas- food, bars, entertainment. You can walk to Belmont in 7 min or go to the R in PB with a 6 minute Uber ride. The house has all great amenities. They had bikes and water equipment to use. There are 2 parking garages so it helps with big groups. Along with that, the beds are comfortable and clean! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

Michael was a great host. I really appreciated the opportunity to check in early even though it didn’t work out. I also appreciated the fast and efficient communication. The house was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again for your hospitality!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Mike was awesome. My family and I are from near Pasadena CA. Mike was awesome in making us feel welcomed in lieu of the unfortunate fires in LA county. His house was beautiful. The view of the ocean was exactly what we wanted. As a plus, the spot was near a brewery (walking distance) where they had amazing coffee and food. We were also about 20 mins from downtown, and a short drive to nearby stores like Costco and Target. Thanks Mike for everything!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful and sparkling clean house, plenty of space and right across the street from Terramar Point, a great surf break. We could see dolphins and seabirds from the large windows of the house. One night we ordered delivery and ate watching the sunset from the rooftop! Anthony and Amanda were so kind and helpful. Lots of great restaurants in Carlsbad. We especially enjoyed dinner one night at Campfire. Incredible food and service. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this ocean view home! The location is just steps from the shore with breathtaking ocean views from every angle. The house itself is incredibly spacious, offered plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably and had good parking. Everything was clean upon arrival, and the host Sandra was responsive. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at Cindy's place during the week of our daughter's wedding. The location was absolutely ideal—close to fantastic restaurants, shopping, both the ocean and bay boardwalks, and offering breathtaking views of the bay. The house itself was beautifully designed, with a spacious and thoughtful layout that accommodated our family comfortably and provided plenty of room for all the wedding preparations. One of the standout features was the truly wonderful view from all three levels of the home. Every family member had full access to the stunning bay scenery, and waking up to the sunrise each morning was simply magical. Every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience, making our daughter's special week even more magical. This home was instrumental in creating an unforgettable celebration, and truly was the icing on the wedding cake! We can’t recommend it enough.

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

Our second stay here and we will certainly be back. It’s a great place and we felt right at home! Location cannot be beat - near the beach and the village.

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

Great space indoor and outdoor for a wonderful Thanksgiving ! Very quiet and great location!

We loved it! It was a great place to stay with easy access to the highway so it was fast getting south into La Jolla and San Diego and also north up to Carlsbad, Legoland and west to the Safari. The pool was great, the hot tub could’ve been a bit warmer but the kids still loved it.

5 Star stay! The home was absolutely beautiful! Proactive and thoughtful communication made the logistics a breeze. The guide for the home and surrounding area was one of best we’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a nice, gated community. The accommodations for my baby were a huge plus and made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely book again!

Had a fantastic stay. Literally steps away from Windansea Beach, which is one of my favorite spots in La Jolla. Close to coffee shops and a local grocery store. Very easy to get around to all the major spots in La Jolla. The place had plenty of space indoor and outdoor and was very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Home! It was a perfect location for our anniversary celebration with our family. The home is beautiful with breath taking views of the Ocean. Our host Renata was so sweet and left us a cute gift and note for our 27th year wedding anniversary. It was all so very special to us! We hope to be able to come back each year and make it a tradition if she allows it. The home was so perfect we decided to order out and have dinner on the outdoor deck, overlooking the ocean. The home was clean and very well stocked with anything you might need, including items you might have forgotten like extra toothbrush. We had an amazing experience and having such a wonderful host makes it even that much better! Thank you for all the recommendations, we definitely need to go back to try them all or book for a longer experience! Thank you for making our anniversary so special!!

This was exceptional. We have rented many places and this was the best. Views of the ocean were incredible and could be easily enjoyed from the living and dining rooms and the porch. The furniture was comfortable and the space was sparkling clean. There was incredible storage space and hooks to meet all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to enjoy fresh fish without going out for every meal and the food stand outside on the street was convenient.

The beach house was wonderful. We stayed here with two kids. It's a 2 min walk to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and more (even had a pack n play and a wagon to haul stuff to beach or around the zoo, etc) There are two outdoor patios which are lovely. Very family friendly. The host is also very responsive and accommodating! One important note if you've never been to San Diego - this neighborhood is directly below the flight path to the airport. The listing mentions it too, but be aware if you're a sensitive sleeper. Flights stop around 11.30pm but at 6.30am there is a stampede of a planes for about 45 min.

These were amazing days in an outstanding place. The house is e exactly as described and the location is perfect if you want to sit and relax looking the sunset. Couldn’t be more appropriate to what we were looking for. House was very clean and had everything we need.

This beach house is everything and more. You won’t want to leave! We came out to celebrate my birthday and just relax for the holiday with local family. We had a great time. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to use the backyard as much as we would’ve liked but sitting in the living room with the door open and listening to the waves was priceless. Heather was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed. Dolphin and surfer watching every day and we even saw a whale. We will definitely be back!!! One tip: try to have a compact car so you can park in the driveway spot. Although, we never had trouble with street parking. My hiccup was the street sweep is early am and I was scared to get a ticket! Easy to work around though and well worth it for the location.

We really appreciated what a gorgeous view this property had. It was incredible to just be able to watch the sunset. The host were accommodating and flexible and let us check in early. This property is also fantastic with children, you could just walk right outside and play the sand and walk the pier and walk along beach. We weren’t able to swim or wade in the water due to sewage, which is kind of disappointing, but that’s not the property’s fault. The fridge and kitchen were well stocked, lots of towels, soap, garbage bags, etc. Cons: the public bathroom is directly next-door and you can hear people in the bathroom and flushing, as well as the public spotlights shine in the property 24/7. Also, if you are sensitive to mold, the older style windows weep and have a lot of mold on them. Lastly, 2 out of 4 bed frames are broken, squeaky and thus uncomfortable. Even with those things, I would definitely return. Location and view 10 out of 10.
