The Farmhouse is a tree-house in the middle of a permaculture farm and restorative forest project on the folds of Volcano Maderas. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from town of Balgüe and ten minutes from the Maderas trail-head. It is cosy and comfortable and open to the surrounding 'jungle' setting. The cabins , has been constructed using a mixture of techniques and diverse materials, it is an attempt to recover the use of traditional materials and aesthetics. Most of the bamboo used and all the wood has been recovered from the bamboo forest and fallen trees after Hurricane Nate in October 2017. As each cabin on my property is designed by me and each one is different from the other.
