We have two kayaks available to explore the Brazos or just dive in. Lake Whitney is just 5 minutes away to swim, boat, or ski. Make Memories Grab some marshmallows and share stories around the fire pit or snooze in our organic linens.

Cozy Cabin in the Country 101

Come enjoy the sunset on the porch of this modern cabin located in the country away from the hustle and noise of the city. Our cabin is located in a field next to grazing livestock. This cabin offers plenty of patio seating, a king size bed and a loft with twin beds. Our kitchenette is equipped with a hot plate and basic utensils for preparing a simple meal. A microwave and mini fridge are included. There is not an oven. There is a gas grill which is shared with both cabins.

Shady Acres offers an 1100 square foot one bedroom home with two queen beds, one bath and a large open concept living/kitchen/dining area. The Farm at Shady Acres is perfect for all Baylor sporting events and activities, fans of Fixer Upper, workshops at Homestead Heritage, Westfest and any and all Waco events.
