We stayed at Christine's premises and from the moment we stepped into the home, we felt at peace and home away from home. Mr. Mutungi was very welcoming, gave us all the assistance we needed for the stay. Maurice the taxi person ensured our smooth movement right from the terminus and back. We had Chef Maureen who ensured we were served with sumptuous meals and a cake as we had a birthday to stay. The kids enjoyed the toys, trampoline and swimming pool which was their favourite spot. What stood out for us was the daily cleaning of the home which left the place always clean and fresh done by the humble lady Miriam. Plus Christine is flexible to allow late check out depending on circumstance. Would recommend this place for a family staycation and I'll definitely be back.

Alongside it's convenience to nearby Moshi Town City Center, it also boasts majestic views of Africa's tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas's tallest Mountain. The very hospitable owner Elizabeth and her son Albert made my stay exceptionally pleasant by remaining compassionately available throughout my stay. Amazing experience, we loved staying in Mikhail's house! You can feel and see the care put in every detail, both in the house and in the garden. The surrounding is peaceful while still being in the heart of Diani town with access to all main shops and restaurants. The compound has also a direct private access to the beach, well secured. The swimming pools are clean and great when travelling with children, sunbeds are comfortable and practical, and in the garden there are external showers and a bar space. The terrace is very cosy and perfect to spend quality time all together. The house is beautiful, with very spacious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, very clean and with all the necessary space for your things. Esther, the lady managing the day-by-day stay, is very responsive and helpful in case of anything. We enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return. Totally recommended!

Our family had an exceptional stay at Paul’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the serene setting and expansive, well-appointed spaces. The house was immaculately maintained, with Grace, the housekeeper, ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. On Paul’s recommendation, we hired a private chef whose delicious meals elevated the entire experience and allowed us to fully unwind. The pool was pristine and perfect for relaxing, and the location offered both privacy and convenience. A truly luxurious retreat, we would absolutely love to return

Our experience at this Airbnb was largely positive, with a few points to note for future guests. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, with a lovely swimming pool at the rooftop and a serene environment. The housekeeping services were excellent, and the hosts stood out for their flexibility and attentiveness. They even adjusted the arrival time from 2 PM to 6 AM to accommodate our early arrival, which was a thoughtful gesture. Communication was seamless, and the regular check-ins to ensure our comfort added a personal touch to our stay. In terms of security, the hosts were proactive in sharing alerts, and we felt reassured by the measures they took. However, the surrounding area does require some caution, particularly during late night hours. While this didn’t significantly impact our stay, it’s worth keeping in mind for guests planning to explore the neighborhood after dark. Overall, the hosts provide excellent service and create a welcoming atmosphere.

We spent 10 days at Jackie's traditional cottage with shared pool - very peaceful location - nice big shared pool - but so few other guests we had it to ourselves - it was cleaned daily - the children loved it. We had an issue with the shower underperforming but Jackie had it sorted out in no time, the main bedroom had A/C and the second room a ceiling fan, large well equipped kitchen and nice partially open living room with quality furniture - made us feel more in touch with the tropical garden. We regularly saw Monkeys and bush babies, the rooms were cleaned daily. We would always want to stay here when we visit Ukunda again, its only short TukTuk ride to the supermarket and you can walk to Kongo River, although I would suggest you head further south to Diani or Gaul beach as the beaches are much nicer than Kongo River.
