One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Craig was extremely nice and accommodating when it came to my birthday weekend. He responds quickly to all questions asked and makes sure we’re comfortable at all times. This home was clean, accurately described, and had the perfect “home feeling”. Overall, when visiting the area I will be booking here again !

Very beautiful place. Secluded and peaceful, perfect for a quiet weekend away. Has a cute little town not too far away with plenty of places to eat and activities to participate in. Would definitely come back!

me and my fiance stayed just a few days and I didn’t want to leave! The space was even better than expected. Having almost everything you’d need to cook, plenty of towels, clean bedding. It was so clean and beautiful inside and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Felt just like home. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful as well. We will 100% be back!

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable lake house while our home was being renovated. The area is perfect, with plenty to walk to, and a great view of the lake and marina. The home was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable and inviting. Sue was a great help with whatever we needed and got back to us right away when we had a question. highly recommend.

MIke was an amazing host. Extremely responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. Was in town with my family for a funeral; Mike was very understanding and was willing to go the extra mile to support the changing flow of the trip. Beautiful view; I could imagine it would be amazing in the summer. All-in-all, a great stay, and exactly what we needed during this time. Would love to be there in the summer or fall!

The house & property are beautiful & so serene. It is perfect for a girl's weekend! Porch is perfect for coffee in the morning overlooking the lake & the a bonfire at night over looking the lake! Kitchen has pretty much everything you need & the master bed is sooo comfortable!! House is super clean & just decorated so cute! The host is very nice, accommodating & responsive. It is nearly perfect except for the price. It is a little high at almost $1000 for 2 nights (in the office season) except if your splitting between 4 or 5 people... like for a girl's night.

I have stayed at The Ramsdell Inn, which is very quaint, and rich with history and has been my favorite downtown. The Edgewater has been added to that favorite list. I love downtown Manistee and this place is conveniently located across the river. I walked everywhere I wanted downtown. The space is very clean and right on the river. I highly recommend the space. Dave made us feel right at home and answered any questions we had. His place is near restaurants and stores which were very convenient! It is also a 12 minute drive to the national park and there are so many places to check out. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Chicago and there’s a train nearby if you want to take that instead into the city. I highly recommend staying here Dave’s place was clean and he was an amazing host!

Beautiful home and incredible location. Every day we walked across the street to the South Shore beach to kick off the afternoon with beers by the lake. Club Garibaldi is an easy walk, where we had fantastic wings and caught a Thin Lizzy cover band. The apartment’s interior is stunning and simultaneously very cozy. We all enjoyed the fully stocked coffee and tea bar. Thank you, 10/10 highly recommend!

My friend and I were in the area for the Tulip festival, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The updated condo was extremely clean, comfortable, convenient and walkable to shops and restaurants in downtown Grand Haven. It was a perfect place to come back after a day of exploring, we felt safe and at home. Lisa was excellent at communicating info before arrival and quick to answer questions we had during our stay. I would definitely stay at Lisa’s place if in the area again and would recommend it to family and friends.

We loved everything about this stay. Janelle has created a very beautiful space with absolutely everything we needed for a peaceful vacation. It is spacious and immaculately clean. The location is priceless. We had an easy walk to Lake Michigan, great restaurants, fun shops, and great coffee. We will definitely be back!

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Location was amazing short walking distance of several great restaurants and right on a great bike path that you could ride endlessly. The pool was added bonus for 2 kids and highly recommend boat rental place in Fruitport!

We had an amazing stay here over New Year’s Eve! It was the perfect location and we felt right at home! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. All of the appliances as well as the washer and dryer were clean and the extra blankets and linens were great to have on extra cold nights! We are local to the area and wanted to stay close to downtown. This is definitely a condo we will rent again in the future. We did have a few questions during our stay and they were really quick at responding and very friendly. The condo overall felt very much like home and had lots of extra comforts such as pillows, blankets, board games etc and didn’t at all feel like a bare bones kind of Air B &B.
