Great location for ice fishing. Listing is accurate, spacious and clean. Will definitely book again and look forward to checking this home out for a summer trip. Host is very responsive, friendly and helpful!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had such a great time. Michael was great host, very responsive and had plenty of amenities! I look forward to visiting again!!

We stayed for almost a week in late October to enjoy some hiking and the fall colors. The house was very clean and was very well stocked with towels, kitchenware, etc. Beautiful and well maintained house. Would absolute stay here again.

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

We loved our stay at this house. Great location right on the lake, beautiful views and the snow made it even better. The house was as described, clean and very comfortable. We skied 2 days at Schuss and this is a convenient location for that. The dogs had plenty of room to roam the house and were comfortable as well! We would definitely stay here again!

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

This was our 4th Fall time coming here, and we still love it. There is plenty of space, the location is great, and the view is just the best. Can't wait until next year!

We had a great stay at Sue’s cottage. The lake is beautiful and a short drive to Traverse City. Sue was easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure everything was going well with our stay. The house was well equipped and a great size for a family of 5. We’d love to go back when the weather is a little warmer so we can enjoy the wonderful outdoor space and sandy beach. Our kids still had a blast fishing and playing on the shore.

The cabin was very cozy and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean, well stocked and organized. Nina quickly resonded to our questions and concerns. A lovely experience and we hope to return again in the future.

It is hard to put in words how wonderful it was to spend time at Elizabeth's place. It was so peaceful and quiet and allowed me to focus on a work project and rest. All the little homelike touches made her place feel like your own home without the feeling that you were intruding on a private home. I would recommend this little place for anyone the is seeking a getaway from the city. And as a bonus, a short drive into TC! Thank you, Elizabeth for being a wonderful host and opening your home up for others to share. I'll definitely be back.

The house is on the canal right off the lake. We kept our boat tied up right outside the house. There are a lot of extras. Lucky for us there was an extra gas can because our gas gage started acting up and we ran out of gas in the middle grounds. There are kayaks you can use. There is a washer and dryer, plus a black stone. Lots of room for parking. I loved the king size bed.

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful and comfortable. There were many things to do on the lake and amenities to use. I had to drag my husband away since he didn't want to leave. Jennifer was an impeccable hostess and not only takes great care of the property but went above and beyond to make our stay carefree. I loved the information given on surround business and personal touches to make us feel welcomed. Thank you. Just a warning the fish in this lake love to tease and are experts at getting a free breakfast from your lines!

Amazing!! Incredibly peaceful getaway right on the lake. The house was even better than we expected from the photos. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to the Traverse City area. Would definitely stay again!

We loved staying at Carl's. The pool table and hot tub are my kids favorite part.
