Clementine and Fred were very helpful. Clementine's cooking was great, the grounds are very well kept and a nice place to take a walk. There were several nice places to sit outside and lots of nice areas to sit and talk inside. Shiku responded quickly each time I emailed and answered all my questions.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

This is really a gem. The surroundings are amazing, the house is beautiful and peaceful, bed very comfortable. I came to spend two nights but I wish I stayed longer. Kevin was a fantastic host, perfect communication and provided a lot of useful insights to improve my stay. It suits for a romantic escape, as well as for a solo trip to find some peace. Thanks for having me Kevin, hope to come back soon!

Our family were well looked after at Karate's house. We shared the house with his mother who is a very kind and caring woman who looked after us very well. Karare helped us with renting a car which was very useful and provided us with very good meals. The children enjoyed the big screen TV and the delicious meals.

Nice place near to Lake Elementaita. Only 100 meters walking. The staff, Harrison and Lea are very helpfull and kind. What you ask, they arrange for you. In the evening we enjoy campfire on the lake. Good breakfast and dinner. It’s a nice stay for the price you pay. We hope to come back.

Great stay at Ian’s place (that looks much better than the pictures). Great view on the forest that you can enjoy during a barbecue. We were a group of 10 adults there. Helen is very helpful! For a big group of 10 like us (especially if having tall-format people) I recommend to bring an extra mat because thee double beds are really small.

Christine’s place is a hidden gem, perfect get away from busy towns. If you are into morning jogs or evening walks , this is your perfect place. Environment is serene and icing was sounds of birds early in the morning. Loved my stay

We had a great but brief stay here as we were just passing through. We wish we could have stayed longer and taken full advantage of what they have to offer? The chalet that was a great deal. we have a large family and there was plenty of space for all of us. The staff had a fire waiting for us when we arrived which was a nice touch because it was beginning to get cold.!

Very nice house, peaceful neighbourhood, we loved it. John, Samson and Chichi were all helpful and friendly. Thank you all!

Our second time staying here. Nice cottages and good location with access to good food and close to some parks.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the 3 chalets over the Christmas holidays with friends. The chalets were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, set in a quiet and stunning location that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the holiday spirit. A special shoutout to Eva for her exceptional support throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend these chalets to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning for another memorable trip!

5 Stars is well deserved for this cottage!! We absolutely had a great stay. The house is very clean, comfortable and in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The nature around is so tranquil and serene. Our kids spent a lot of time outside in the garden. All amenities functioned very well, the kitchen was well equipped, the shower was the best we ever had, pressure and hot water! And beds were comfortable too. The check in was smooth and Beverly helped us with a huge gallon of water, highly appreciated. We extended our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. One thing to note: from the main road it is 3kms to the house and not 4.

Our stay at Sheila’s home was great. Sheila was able to guide us on check in,and all listed amenities provided. The place is private and perfect for a stay for two people. We had someone available to assist in Sheila’s absence,regardless Sheila was very responsive and check up on us during our stay. The malls are not far,Buffalo Mall is a 5mins drive away and another mall 20mins drive towards Nairobi. Overall,we had a great stay!

Alice is a great host, she kept checking on us until we settled. She organised for a chef who's cooking we enjoyed. The house is cosy, very clean and with a beautiful views. The GRVL staff are very friendly and helpful. Would love to return to Mumbi's cottage for a longer stay.
