Frog town was just what we were looking for to have a quiet girls getaway! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and loved spending time on the deck outside! Once we got there, we never left, so didn’t venture out to stores or restaurants. Brandi and Steven were great hosts and responded quickly with any questions. The camp was just as described and very cozy as well as stocked with anything you could need! We even enjoyed visits from their dog Larry. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone.

Perfect accomodations, perfect location, so no need to stay anywhere else but here.

I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for some time now. I really just wanted to be among the moss covered cypress trees. Angela's house is perfect for this. I can't imagine a better back yard than this. We had the pond all to oursleves or at least it felt that way. We visited the state park and the main attraction there is the Saw Mill Pond. It is beautiful but I think the Paradise Pine pond, which is where this house is located, is better. The house is close to all the attractions. I recommend going over to the Johnson Ranch Marina for a boat tour, where you can see the actual Caddo lake and get some history of the area. Anyway, Angela's propery was a nice place to decompress and spend time with our family. The only thing I might have wished I would have brought with me was a kayak or paddle board. The back yard is perfect for it, at least in the cold while all the gaters were sleeping :)

We enjoyed our stay! The place was easy to find and was exactly what we expected. The host was very helpful and got back to me quick anytime I messaged her. Very clean house and had everything we could have needed. Recommend to anyone coming to the area

Katlin's home was exactly what we were hoping for. It had the perfect location, everything we needed and super clean and comfortable beds. We cannot wait to stay there again. We highly recommend to anyone needing a place in Gilmer.

Amazing cabin, we enjoyed our visit, only issue we had was it was a little hot upstairs, but that is to be expected in Texas! We loved watching the deer all day as well.

Such a great spot! Patricia’s guest house was comfortable and has access to an amazing pool designed by her mother. We even were given a tour of her private residence that is a tribute to the talent women in her family. Will return again

-Highly recommend- the house itself is a true one of a kind experience, where else can you stay in a replica of a French mansion? -Very quiet, picturesque setting but convenient to local stores/highway. -Unparalleled “service” by the house manager (even arranging to personally go pick up some toiletries that I forgot prior to my arrival) A true must stay place and top notch experience from start to finish.

Lisa's lake rental was exactly as described and so much more. The house is the prefect getaway in a quiet beautiful setting. Lisa is the perfect host and her house is decorated beautifully. We highly recommend staying here, it will not disappoint!

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

I have used AirBnB around the world but I believe Donna may be the most generous host I've ever had. Not only is her space clean and private with all the usual accommodations, but she also has every kind of tea and coffee, little snacks, plush throws, tables to eat and write on, and even bath crystals for a foot soak. in addition, she offers a free breakfast! I got the avocado toast and it was like a little gourmet meal! She also responded almost instantly every time I texted her. highly recommended this little suite!

We love it!. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, we felt very comfortable, Alexandra's place is beautiful, it's just like the pictures. It has a lot of amenities, the front view lake that we felt in love, with the deck for our morning coffee, the kayaks, the grill, the full equipped kitchen, toys to entertain my kiddos, the nature sorroundings and we really like that it feels private. Alexandra was responsive and helpful, a great host. We would definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area.

Love this charming home! This is the second time I have stayed and will continue to book when I come back. The home is quiet and has so many lovely unique aspects to it. Beds are very comfortable and the home was very clean.

Really enjoyed Brady's Place. Loved watching all the different kinds of watercraft going down the lake. There's a great little Cafe, The Lighthouse, just a 1/2 mile down the road, too. Great fenced in area for our two, little chihuahuas. So peaceful at night sitting out on the balcony listening to the wildlife and insects. Would definitely book again!

A lovely home on a quiet lake with plenty of room and outdoor seating. We enjoyed ourselves and will likely book again in the future.
