Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Additional sleeping space for up to 6 more people is available if you add the bunkhouse on to your rental for an extra fee. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our 118 acre property contains mature white pine stands, beautiful pollinator fields, black spruce bog and is home to abundant wildlife. Early Frost Farms is a hobby farm specializing in vegetable growing. Our general store sells canned goods and ice cream treats. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.

Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.
