Clever design of a compact space with beautiful mountain views. A very relaxing retreat in rural surroundings and yet very convenient for Queenstown and Arrowtown attractions.

Amazing spot just outside Frankston. thanks so much for having my wife and I, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone looking to be a just outside the busyness in a beautiful spot but also close enough to all the amenities.

Wonderful, relaxing stay that felt peaceful in a beautiful nature setting. The hot tub was spacious with plenty of hot water. The accommodations were clean and check in instructions were very clear.

Friendly and informative host. Great location, walking distance to the town proper where all the shops and restaurants are. Great view and the room was very cosy. Good for 2 people :)

Thanks Judy! we loved this place. it was so good to be away from the direct bustle of the Queenstown downtown. We were prompted to explore the local area up to Coronet Peak, Ayrburn and Arrowtown it gave us the most pleasant stay in nature. The barn is such good value and and as quintessential kiwi family gathering in Queenstown for a 80th staying at the barn was proclaimed the best accom and a great evening in beautiful weather at the barn having dinner together. Judy it was better than we could have imagined. Mum proclaimed we didn't need a lunch on the Earnslaw as she had the best family pre birthday night. Many thanks Judy. we will be back.

Very special spot and unique experience! The surroundings were idyllic and the cabin was very well equipped with a beautiful fit out and rustic charm. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor hot tub was such a treat especially being able to look up at the stars. We loved our stay and would love to come back some day :)

We met Mari when we arrived & had nice natter prior to unloading the car. We found the accommodation excellent and Marc had provided made additional extra in the kitchen which we didn’t expect, some nice touches… Also, there were pictures on the walls making it quite homely and finally, the wifi login was a breeze, due to his gadgets… Go Mari! We’ll certainly return when we visit Cromwell.

This is a very cute tiny house! We enjoyed our stay, it was comfy and warm. Great place to have our wee dog with us as it was fully fenced and felt like our own wee place. Bed was very comfy and added bonus of an outdoor fire to enjoy!

Loved staying here from the chaos of Queenstown, while still being quite close whenever we needed to go somewhere - the place was so quaint and nice to stay in, loved the fully functional kitchen too!

A wonderful stay - the house is impeccably stylish with thoughtful and modern amenities. It was perfectly clean and Alice was a very clear communicator - an effortless stay, would rebook.

Beautiful modern tiny home!! Pretty generous in size for a tiny home, we stayed with 2 adults & 2 kids. Outdoor deck & fire pit with the mountain views is awesome. Jasmine was very responsive to a couple of questions we had too. Really short drive into town centre, so easy!

Loulou’s place was lovely. It was clean, modern and beautiful. She was very helpful and friendly and the whole experience was extremely relaxing and easy. The location couldn’t be better to visit all the wineries, 2 very cute and friendly dogs, already planning our return visit to tick off everything we missed this time around!

My partner and I stayed just one night at Sarah’s place and honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer, it’s such a beautiful and peaceful spot. The space has everything you need, and the spa pool under the stars was absolutely magical. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was Sarah herself. We were dealing with a very stressful situation, my partner had an important online exam and our laptops failed us at the worst possible time. Not knowing anyone in NZ and with only hours to spare, we were in panic mode. Sarah went above and beyond to help us. She kindly lent us her personal laptop and even offered a room in her own home with the best internet connection so the test could be completed smoothly. We’re incredibly grateful for her kindness and support. Sarah is a wonderful host and person, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.

The best part is the view!! Absolutely stunning to wake up and see that view of the Wānaka hillsides. We also really enjoyed the outdoor bath, which was private and peaceful! Great host recommendations, thoughtful touches, and fun decor! Things to note: I found it a little unique that the only sink was in the bathroom - so keep that in mind if you plan on enjoying meals there. Other reviews mention the stairs to get up to the space. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a hard time walking uphill/downhill or feel uncomfortable driving a bit up a hill on a winding road. It totally suited our needs and we enjoyed the privacy, views, and wow factor. I would definitely recommend staying if you’re looking for a little slice of heaven 5 minutes driving from town.

Awesome place to stay for our week in Wanaka. Was so private and very peaceful. We throughly enjoyed using the outdoor bath each evening while watching the stars. A good walk from town but very doable either by road or Mt Iron. Would 100% come back and stay here on our next stay in town.

Cath is a good communicator with prompt clear instructions and answers to any queries. She was flexible on arrival and departure which was very helpful.
