We had a wonderful stay at this “Slow Pace” Airbnb with our children and two dogs! The home was comfortable and inviting, with a fantastic backyard that we all enjoyed. The living room was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the location couldn’t have been better—we loved being able to walk downtown and appreciated the easy access to Montreat. Another great perk was the nearby mom-and-pop convenience store, where we could easily pick up extra drinks and snacks. It was close enough that the kids could even walk over by themselves, which was a nice bonus! The hosts were thoughtful in every detail, from providing plenty of coffee for our entire stay to the extra special touch of a bottle of wine waiting for us on our first night. We would absolutely stay here again!

Loved the huge fenced in backyard. Naikey was responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend.

We were a group of 4 adults and two children (1 and 3) and found the size good for us. The toys, crib, and child’s seat made a quick 2 day trip much easier because we didn’t have to bring as much with us. The home was clean with plenty of towels available for everyone. It is an older home so the rooms are smaller (more than 6 or so in the living room would be quite crowded). We appreciated the abundance of hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms. We played some ping pong which we enjoy but recommend that the items be refreshed as they are in poor condition! Overall, it’s a good value and we would stay again when traveling with children.

This is a great property in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a family needing multiple rooms and separate bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Wonderful place to stay! Thomas was helpful and responsive. The home was clean and cozy, with nice privacy for being so close to the city. Nice little touches included labeled light switches, waffle bar (we didn’t use, but it looked great!), game cabinet, comfortable beds, and good water pressure in shower. Would stay again and recommended to anyone, especially families (that bedroom off the master area was so nice for a kids space!)

This is the cutest little Airbnb close enough to all the fun things you may want to do during your stay in Charlotte! We loved our time and hope to stay again!! Rene is a wonderful host too. Very responsive to messages sent, and easy to communicate with. She checks in often enough that you feel cared for, but not so often that it feels invasive — just the right balance. She makes the space homey & sets everything up so when you arrive and check in, it feels just like walking into a home away from home. It’s clean, spacious, and has everything you might need — even things for cooking all your meals from scratch!! We highly recommend this little spot.

We had an absolute delight staying at Cindy's place! Located in a peaceful neighborhood, and close to all the essential amenities. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and furnished with brand-new everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Our kids had a blast playing at the community's playground and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, admiring the charming homes. This was our first experience staying in a tiny community like this, and we're so glad we discovered Cindy's gem. It's now our go-to 'second home' whenever we're in the Piedmont/Greenville, SC area. A huge thank you to Cindy and her co-hosts for providing our family with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We appreciate your hospitality!

We have been to many AirBnbs over the years. We can say without hesitation that this was the most comfortable place we have ever been to. The space was super comfy, well appointed, in a quiet residential neighborhood, but within a few blocks of Greensboro shopping. We went out to a couple of great restaurants, the Green Valley Grill for dinner and Mimi's for breakfast. The zoo is awesome. If we are ever in this area again, this is the place we will choose. This place was beautiful, clean and cozy! I loved the kitchen appliances, they mirrored mine at home, as red is my favorite color and they were all red. I enjoyed the coffee and tea that were available. The place is immaculate.! This host thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. I was impressed to see that there were several boardgames available so if you did not feel like watching TV, you could enjoy some games. There was even a high chair and playpen in case you had a baby with you. I highly recommend this place and hope it is available next time I visit North Carolina. I left with a smile on my face :)

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Had a great stay at Cynthia’s Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Cynthia was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. She was quick to respond to any questions and gave great local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was amazing and comfy, my family loved the view from the apartment and we spent a great time in Grandfather Mountain! The host was very kind and really helpful. We’d love to rent this place again in the future — (10/10)

We loved the cabin! We were a family of 2 with small children and the space is perfect for us! The location is unbeatable just a few walks to the bunny slope. The kids had fun sledding down a small area outside the apartment building. The cabin has everything you need. From cooking, cleaning and laundry. Board games for family entertainment and so much more! Did I mention it has the most stunning view of the Ski resort? Eva was a great host too. Communication is top-notch! She was very nice and answered all my questions. We locked ourselves out the cabin and she was prompt in helping us out. I 100% recommend this cabin if you need a family getaway at Beech Mountain!

This was our second year at Sugar mountain and first time at Allan’s place! The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to bake my homemade treats. Lots of pots and pans for your stay! The place was very spacious and the view well it’s just immaculate. Would stay again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

The place was clean, the area quiet and the shopping center very convenient with a variety of shops. Karim was kind polite and accommodating, if I’m ever in the area again I hope his spot is available.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place! The condo was beautiful and peaceful and a great setup for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy! There are plenty of activities at the resort and surrounding areas to stay busy and entertained as well. We enjoyed the indoor pool, Tweetsie Railroad, and Downtown Blowing Rock playground and many restaurants! Nicole was a wonderful host and was very helpful and responsive. We definitely plan to return and stay again!

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
