The house was built by the Kelsey family in the 1930s after seeing the house featured in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and has been completely renovated. Views of the lake from almost every room. The cottage can be enjoyed throughout all of the seasons of Michigan. As fall approaches, note the state hunting land is just a 100 yard walk. The interior is a blend of rustic cozy meets modern touches. This is a home and not a hotel so you will find quirks that belong to any individual home.

Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

It will comfortably sleep two guest.
