Our family of 8 absolutely loved Courtney's rental. I don't think it could have been in a better location. It is with in walking distance of all the lagoons, local shops, golfing and it's a quick drive to grocery stores. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were clear and the check in/out process was a breeze. Our only cons were there were only 2 beach towels, no spices and the trash under the sink was way too small for the 8 of us. We are seasoned Air bnbers so we did pack a few of things we knew we would need like laundry pods, paper towels and a few smaller items but coming from the East Coast we were only checking 1 bag and didn't bring any spices, beach towels or dish & dishwasher soap. Island Country Market (SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS and get those free items!), Safeway, Target and Walmart are really just a short drive to grab what was needed so it wasn't a big deal but just be prepared to need these items. We absolutely can not wait to go back. Aloha.

The house was great and clean with a fantastic mountain and ocean view.

We loved Albert's place! It is right on Waikiki. Within a few minutes of easy walk, we are right on the pristine Waikiki beaches. The views from the studio is amazing: we can see 2 parks down (one of them being Fort DeRussy Beach Park), we can see the beautiful mountains from the room, we can even see the ocean from the balcony and from one of the windows, which is a sweet surprise to us as the description didn't mention ocean views. The studio is a corner unit, so it is more spacious than the normal studio, especially the additional room at the entrance that conveniently provides space for our beach gears. We mostly took the buses, as the place is so conveniently located to one of the main bus stops on Waikiki. It is also close to ABC stores and popular breakfast place "Egg'n Things". We didn't do much cooking, as there are so many choices nearby, so we can not say much about the kitchen and utensils. Other than that, this place greatly exceeded our expectations!

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

This is a fantastic townhouse for a family to stay! It is extremely close to the lagoons which we drove daily 2 mins away. We found it a little far to walk. We forgot our stroller at home and were so grateful when we arrived they had one! They have tons of beach items for the kids to use and chairs. The beds were super comfortable! The pool was fantastic to use when making dinner on the bbq. It was a great stay and would love to stay again!

The room had everything we needed and was closely located to so many things! It was within 7 minutes from our snorkeling tour, walking distance from food trucks and restaurants, museums and the beach.

Jennifer is perfect host. Very quick response, lots of recommendations about area. House is beautiful, very clean, more then enough for our party of 10 with lots of equipment for beach gear and snorkelling, but most important in a stunning location. I will never forget first morning after late check in with breathtaking view and welcoming nature voices. House is located on the other part off the island so you need to take extra time for travel but for us wasn’t a problem as we met some locals and saw real life on Oahu not just a perfect Waikiki style life. The house is equipped with everything what we need to feel like home. Thank you Jennifer for renting you perfect house. I highly recommend for a small or big family and hope you will have as perfect stay as we had.

This was a beautiful home in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. It was the perfect size for our family of 4, including 2 children. We enjoyed being able to watch the sunrise from the backyard, and driving only 3 minutes to a large, gorgeous beach. The host was very responsive, friendly and kind. We highly recommend this place for any group!

The whole family loved our time at Nalus place! From the start he was super responsive with any questions I sent over chat about the location and surrounding areas. The home itself was clean, Cozy and stocked with the basics which was great for arrival. One thing to note, the home doesn’t have central air BUT that was not a problem for our group because the home does have a window unit and plenty of fans to keep things cool. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the home, would totally stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

House is just as pictured and in the beautiful Makaha Valley. Very seamless check in process and house is nice and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again

This place was close to a lot of activities in and around Honolulu, so location is excellent. The inside of the house was pristine, the outside and surrounding neighborhood was older. There are not a lot of extras in this house, limited pots and pans, no cookie sheet, etc. It was a challenge for us to make our own meals here. Living space is limited. While it has 3 bedrooms, the kitchen area is the only living area. Also, there are no extra blankets. My son slept on the futon, and we had a hard time getting a blanket for him (we had to take one off of the other beds), and we had to lay our own beach towel down as a sheet for him.

This cozy cottage had a wonderful location. Minutes walk to a peaceful isolated beach, this home was fully equipped with everything you need for an amazing getaway! The beach is perfect for families with little ones. Shallow, crystal clear water and mellow ripples. The home itself has plenty of room for larger families and everything was easy to find and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything and anything you’d need.

Great communication with the hosts. The house was exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay again. Enjoyed our Christmas vacation here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nika’s beautifully renovated home in Laie! It was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—walking distance to the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU-Hawaii, and the LDS temple. Laie is such a gem on the North Shore, with stunning beaches and amazing places to explore nearby. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we all slept so well! The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and beautifully designed. We loved it so much, we ended up extending our stay. If you’re planning to spend time in Laie, I seriously can’t recommend this home enough. It’s a peaceful, high-quality stay at an amazing value

I have stayed with this host every time I visit Oahu and I absolutely love them, very kind and quick to respond, gorgeous homes in a beautiful area, very private, I would recommend to anybody looking to stay on Oahu to stay here!

Clean, comfortable and cozy! The unit was perfect for our family of 3! However, you can easily fit four. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC easily keeps the space cold. The area was so dreamy we didn’t want to leave! Walking distance to two beautiful beaches!

Our group stayed at this property for 5 nights. The hosts are very generous with amenities and the property is located in a quiet and secluded area. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful to all of our inquires (from trash day questions to check out process). Slight issue with moisture-odor in the bedroom near the upstairs bathroom, in the En Suite bathroom and with the bedroom with 2 twin beds (only when the AC unit is used). But this is a minor matter in comparison to the hospitality and generosity of the hosts, and the peaceful neighborhood, and opportunity to visit Leeward part of Oahu. Our group agreed that of given the opportunity, we would strongly consider Kalo Homes again.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay, all within a gated community! You have privacy and a great back yard to oversee the spectacular surrounding mountains and ocean views! There is nothing better than great comfort within a nice household with peace and quiet. It was very relaxing, and the accommodations of the house were awesome! Great to have a bbq and a shaded area to enjoy the views and take in the fresh Hawaiian air. Beach-going essentials were a huge hit for our family! We will definitely be staying here again!

This was an amazing airbnb experience for my elderly parents and aunts. I was chaperoning them for their farewell retirement celebration on the island and this home away from home served as the perfect, peaceful and quiet rest space. The hosts were so accommodating and supportive. We had no issues with the space and enjoyed using it to wind down, rest, and cook some meals. I would recommend this spot for those looking for a quiet getaway with plans to sight see and drive all around the island. Thank you again!

Great place. We loved that the children were in the upstairs bedrooms and we had our own space downstairs.

House was beautiful. It had everything that you needed as if you were right at home. It was very comfy and pleasant. The gated community made me feel safe and secure. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
