Romantically remote yet so close to the well known playgrounds of Tighnabruaich and Portavadie. A piece of paradise awaits you here set in bucolic surroundings of green fields with sheep and birds for company. Awe inspiring views towards Arran’s mountains and close to one of Scotland’s best beaches. A place to escape to and slow down.

Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. This is a delightfully cosy and comfortable 2 bedroom barn conversion which can comfortably sleep 5. Our lovely cottage is the ideal location for a peaceful and relaxing stay, and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. It is a very bright, airy, modern and spacious accommodation. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast.
