The self-contained LOWER level of the house consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry/mudroom, & an open living space spanning the kitchen, dining, & living room. Our private MountainVista guesthouse is your ideal starting point whether you are attending a university event or exploring the Palouse country. Located 17 miles from Moscow, our comfortable guesthouse provides you with peace and quiet along with a scenic view of Moscow Mountain. MountainVista offers a well equipped dedicated workspace. Air condition units are in bedrooms only. Our driveway is somewhat steep and gravel, not ideal for sports cars. 🙂

The Upper Room

Comfortable studio just steps from the University of Idaho campus on the south side of Moscow. Ideal for visiting parents, sports fans, conference guests, or college scouts. The Upper Room is a private studio with its own entrance on the same property as our Palouse View Villa. It includes a mostly full kitchen (no dishwasher), a queen bed, and a queen sofa bed, comfortably sleeping up to four guests.

It has a large yard with a beautiful deck and is within walking distance to downtown. Easy access to both University of Idaho and Washington State University activities. Enjoy Moscow's fabulous Farmer's Market and all Moscow has to offer.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
