Perfect place to rest while you pass through the alps! Salvan is a beautiful little area on the mountain outside of Martigny and it was a super quiet, restful place.

Pauline and her husband Pierre were lovely hosts, who were above and beyond in accommodating our needs. My sister was a last minute add on and they welcomed her with open arms. If I lived in Orlon, I would make them my friends. Linda Kotin

Where to start! Jo and Elodie were not only amazing hosts but are now friends for life. The place is absolutely stunning and they gave us the freedom to use the entire space, allowing us to feel right at home from the start. My wife and I have NEVER stayed at a better Airbnb. The space itself is modern and spacious with superb views of the surrounding landscape. The area is very tranquil and peaceful, and a perfect place to relax. The cable car up to Verbier is not too far to walk but we were kindly offered lifts regularly! I cannot speak highly enough of the space, and Jo and Elodie as hosts. Thank you for everything!

Très bon séjour, Edith est adorable et toujours aux petits soins, très flexible, souriante et polie. Petit déjeuner excellent avec produits frais et avec les fromages qu’elle fait elle même. On a séjourné deux nuits à deux adultes et un enfant c’était top! Je recommande!

Einfaches aber zweckmässiges Zimmer, recht klein. Für eine Übernachtung bei einer Velotour tiptop. Es hat alles was man braucht. Gemütliches Zmorge, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Restaurant-Tipp: Hotel Diana bei Ried (10 Min zu Fuss), überdurchschnittliches Speisen- und Getränkeangebot und - wenn man Glück hat - spontane Jodeleinlagen anderer Gäste ...

Nothing to complain about Roland’s property. It’s surrounded by beautiful scenery in really peaceful area on the mountain. Brigitte is a very nice host. She picked us up to guide us to the property because we arrived quite late evening. The breakfast was also really nice. She served typical Swiss breakfast for me to experience the local food. I definitely would come back.

This was just a great experience. I was there for a full month, did not regret a day of it. Everyone down there obviously speaks French; Rita comes from Italy, her husband comes from Luzern and speaks German, and son Patrice studied music in Boston so is fluent in English. They are all so very friendly and hospitable, will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable. The apartment is the perfect size for one person, might be tight for two over a long period. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. I always felt very safe, never once locked the apartment door for the entire month. Rita loves her garden and loves to bake; if she takes a shine to you, she might even bring over a piece of cake or pie as she did for me. Parking is in her driveway is very tight, but you get used to it, having a small car helps. And while downtown Monthey is only a 15 minute walk downhill, the uphill walk back up (more than 100 meters ascent) takes longer and is no fun, especially when it's hot, and you don't see anybody on foot doing that. There are really no restaurants in practical walking distance, you'll need to get in your car to get a bite to eat.

Séjour en famille avec mon fils et mes parents. Randonnée pour mes parents, ski et snow pour mon fils et moi. Mon fils (11 ans) dormait avec moi sur la mezzanine (2 matelas séparés ce qui me permettait de bien dormir ! ). Mes parents dormaient dans la chambre, très cosie avec le bruit de la rivière qui coule à côté. Ils ont très bien dormi. De l’appartement, nous avions une vue splendide sur les montagnes, forêt, chalets ce qui nous a permis de voir une famille de biches un matin ainsi qu’une maman écureuil avec son bébé. Emplacement de l’immeuble à distance de l’agitation et bars, tout en étant à proximité des restaurants et vie de Nendaz. Une navette nous permettait d’aller au départ de la télécabine chaque matin. Tout dans l’appartement est très bien conçu et respire la zénitude. Sonia nous a donné toutes les indications importantes et nécessaires pour arriver à l’appartement. Excellent accueil même si nous ne nous sommes pas vues. Merci Sonia. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Beautiful new place with all amenities needed. Very responsive host, bringing breakfast every morning. Very close to some great wine tasting (and buying). We really enjoyed this place!

L'appartement est idéalement situé pour ne pas toucher au véhicule et tout faire à pied, il est proche du télécabine donnant l'accès aux pistes de ski et à quelques minutes des bains thermaux (Alpentherme et Leukerbad Therme). De plus, le logement est très bien équipé pour un court ou plus long séjour. Nous y logions à 3 (dont 2 enfants) et ce fut parfait. Une chambre agréable, un salon-salle à manger cosy offrant une belle vue sur les montagnes alentours et une cuisine toute équipée. Bref, si un futur séjour se profile, nous n'hésiterons pas à relouer cet appartement idéal pour un couple ou en famille.

Alles bestens. Schöne Wohnung, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Das Beste sind die Balkone (ganztags Sonne) mit super Aussicht.

Absolutely loved our stay, amazing flat and perfect for 4 people. The place had everything you need and a fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend. Very easy to drive 5 mins to Les Diablerets ski lift. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Die Unterkunft war neu und hübsch eingerichtet. Die Aussicht war klasse. Die Vermieter sind total freundlich und ds Frühstücksangebot mehr als ausreichend. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen, vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Just a fantastic apartment. It is small, but so well thought out, it feels spacious and the thoughtful touches are everywhere. The stocked fridge and cupboards were very welcome as were the toiletries. Just a gem - book it! 😊

We had the most delightful stay at Kerry and Peter’s Hayloft Bed and Breakfast! The place itself is absolutely charming and unique, with every corner brimming with character. The views from the property were simply breathtaking, adding a touch of magic to our entire trip. Kerry and Peter were fantastic hosts, and communication was seamless from start to finish. The breakfast they provided was amazing—fresh, delicious, and it felt just like a cozy family meal. It’s clear they put so much care into everything they do, and it really made our stay special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!

Nach einer schönen Wanderung zum Edelweiss liegt dir Zermatt zu Füßen. Direkt bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich herzlich von Philippa und Rico begrüßt und mit einem kalten Getränk versorgt. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Abendessen vor dieser beeindruckenden Kulisse war sehr lecker. Ich habe bei Philippa und Rico die letzte Nacht auf meiner Mehrtageswanderung verbracht. Es war ein krönender Abschluss der Reise. Ein perfekter Ort um Zermatt und Umgebung zu erkunden und dabei abends dem Trubel zu entfliehen. Absolute Empfehlung

This stay is great - quick walking access in Interlaken and all trains and busses - West station is about 6 mins walk, East is 20 mins. 1.5 hrs to Jungfraujoch, less than an hour to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald, about an hour to Thun. Easy river walk 20 mins to the Harder Kulm rail car. Tall guys, you need to know this: I am 6'4" tall (or 194 cm), and I had to duck in the apartment - my head was literally on the ceiling, and I hit my head on crossbeams multiple times. You will not be able to stand up in the shower fully either. However, I still stayed a full 5 days there as I thought the apartment and location were worth it. The breakfast Gabriela provides is great too - and right downstairs in Cafe Treff! Yogurt, melon, croissants and bread, jams, honey, cappuccinos! Truly a benefit of the stay. Gabriela was very reachable and responsive and even did our laundry for a reasonable fee! I would recommend this stay to anyone, especially non-summer (Americans, there is no A/C).

I enjoyed my 5 day stay with Francine! Everything was great and Francine is a lovely and warm host. The location is perfect for skiing with Les mazots/les diablerets ski lift a short, easy walk away (even carrying ski equipment) and there is a stop for the bus to glacier3000 less than 2 minutes walk from the door. Mägi und Beat sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns durch die liebevolle Gastfreundschaft, das Beisammensein und die offenen Gespräche wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Zimmer reicht perfekt für zwei Personen, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und vielseitig und die Sauna mit Ausblick auf die Berge ein Highlight! Das Skiegebiet ist riesig und schnell zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ein Herzliches Dankeschön an die beiden, wir haben 3 wunderbare Tage verbracht :-)
