This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Lovely nights stay, the lodge was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Slippers, robes and the goodies left were a wonderful bonus. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Water Hall Farm, and enjoyed the wood fired hot tub and fire pit - we were even able to grill our dinner over the fire pit! The view is overlooking a lovely cow field, and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The only complaint we have it it would have been nice to have some complimentary tea and coffee packets out to use.

Great birthday night stay at everything retreat, if you’re looking for a romantic break this place is perfect!

We loved our getaway at Mandy's. Really lovely space and the hot tub was a massive bonus. Mandy was very responsive and when we requested some extra wine glasses they appeared (brand new) within the hour. The only negative was there are no pubs within walking distance, though you can easily hop on the train to knaresborough or Harrogate if you need to. I will say the space is more overlooked than the pictures make it look as it is right on the hosts property, not a deal breaker for me but worth noting!

Beautiful location, great communication and instructions. The accommodation was lovely with a really comfy bed.

Sandra's place was perfect for our short stay in Yorkshire. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and seeing the ducks.

we had a fantastic stay at the lodge. A great location for visiting all of Yorkshire and a lovely setting on the lake. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening and all round had a wonderful stay. Ruth was a great host!

Booked this as a bit of last minute R & R for my family to end our Easter holidays. From the start Chas was friendly & very helpful providing fabulous food when we arrived. There was open space for our children to play & for us to unwind, the cabin is so cosy & everyone slept so well. The family were on hand to help when we needed, we will most definitely return here!

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. What a beautiful cabin and surroundings! It exceeded our expectations. Beautifully surrounded by trees and the flowing stream. Lighting up the fire before going to bed, waking up to the birds chirping or taking a shower outside was amazing. As advertised, there is no network in the cabin - we were very happy to take a break from our phones (but for those who can’t help it, there is 4G just up the hill). We used the kitchen for breakfast- it had all the essentials. We managed without a car by booking a cab from Thirsk station. You can walk to Helmsley on a very beautiful path to restock if you have to (c.1h30 one way). Bring warm clothes although there are some blankets / warm bottles in the cottage which we appreciated. You can purchase additional logs on the property (if you do not have a car like us). Katy and Scott were very responsive and amenable which we appreciated. Absolutely recommend.

Beautiful lodge overlooking Pendle Valley, lovely furnishings, bedding, towels. Everything you could think of was available. The view was stunning & loved the outside area, fully enclosed which was great for our 2 dogs & plenty of outdoor seating & table to use. The site was quiet & peaceful and plenty to explore. The perfect Easter break.

Great place, equipped with everything you could need. wood provided and firelighters and matches provided for log burner. sheep right outside the decking. set on the back of an equestrian type farm place, nice and quiet. we walked to the white swan, about 15mins, great food. Rail Trail nearby was a nice walk. hot tub was great, press and hold the right hand button to adjust the temp, took us a day to figure that out, and the first button on left adjusts the bubbles. there was individual jams and butters in the fridge, prosecco, crisps and biscuits, tea coffee sugar and 2pints of milk provided. it wasn't immediately obvious how to turn on the towel radiator in the bathroom, but there's a tiny switch on the bottom right. shower was OK did the job, but kinda what you expect from an electric shower. The postcode didn't take us right to the place but if you just keep going along the same road you will get to the gate to the farm. 100% recommend, would stay again.

Stayed at Emma’s place for 3 days & wished we had booked for longer, had everything we needed, loved the welcoming gift of chocolates & a bottle of wine. The Costa machine was so nice & a lovely touch. We had lots of walks with the dogs on our doorstep & lovely views of the lake. Will definitely return 😍

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean on arrival with plenty of fresh towels for both the hot tub and the shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was checked twice daily, so felt assured the hot tub was clean and safe to use. James was responsive and helpful when messaged. There was a lovely walk nearby too. The space felt peaceful and private.

Wow!!! Booked this as a surprise for my husband’s 40th and we were truly blown away!! Absolutely stunning, this really is perfect for a couples retreat! No expense spared inside the lodge and out! We both loved it, fantastic facilities, Gemma really has thought of everything! Love that you are left to please yourselves and it really was an effortless check in. Just what we needed - and more. A local base to bed-down whilst visiting family nearby - without getting under their feet too much. All clean, tidy and cosy. Kate was super-welcoming - showing us to the door and checking we could operate the heating, etc. A lovely setting, right on the waterfront. A handy location for the new Vermuyden Way parkrun which has recently started in Belton/Sandtoft.

Peter's place was spotless! he is an awesome host and even helped us set up a barbecue. the place is exactly as advertised and we loved the vibes!

James and Helen were the most lovely, welcoming hosts. It was such a peaceful time away in the cabin, and loved having the chance to use the sauna! Also loved meeting the two donkeys they look after each winter.

Our stay at Nicola’s Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how immaculate and beautifully maintained the house was. The property offered so much to do—we loved having barbecues at the outdoor stove, feeding the swans by the lake, playing darts, and relaxing by the fireplaces while soaking in the breathtaking lakeside views. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear that Nicola takes great pride in creating a perfect guest experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy ourselves. Nicola’s hospitality and the incredible amenities made this stay unforgettable.
