Generous front deck and covered porch for sunbathing, stargazing and outdoor dining in the summer and fall. Soaring stone fireplace makes for a warm, fully-appointed ski lodge in the winter months. 5 minutes from Cannon and 20 minutes from both Loon and Bretton Woods. Miles of National Forest trails out the back door.

The Lake house

Enjoy the southern exposure, a sugar sand walkout beach, an L-shaped dock, and classic Lake Winnipesaukee construction. The open concept includes a full kitchen and a living room. The spacious bathroom also includes a washer and dryer. It has one private bedroom, and a ships ladder guides you to a loft containing additional sleeping space, with a catwalk to a private balcony overlooking the lake. This property has a detached bunkhouse with two full-sized beds and a ¾ bath.

Welcome to Alder House! Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains, our retreat promises a cozy escape. Featuring three inviting bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a recently renovated kitchen, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. Relax on the serene back deck with Adirondack rockers and an outdoor dining table. Just a heads-up, access to all bedrooms requires using stairs. 🐶 Pets are welcome for a $100 fee. ❄️ Winter months: 4WD or AWD is recommended for the driveway.
