An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Wye Cottage

A spacious self catering cottage that will comfortably accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms (one with a bath and one which is accessible for the disabled person). The large comfortable open plan living area leads out to a patio and garden with panoramic views a perfect place for alfresco dining a charcoal BBQ and Fire Pit are provided. Short drive to the historic town of Hay on Wye famous for bookshops, festivals, food markets and castle, and Brecon Beacons National Park, Pen-y-fan and Four Waterfalls. The property Hafan is nestled in a small hamlet within a Welsh Area of Natural Beauty. Surrounded by common land, hillside and fields there are amazing walks and magnificent panoramic views of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Brook View is a spacious, two bedroom, purpose built holiday home just off the A470 in Builth Wells. The bungalow is minutes away from the town centre on foot with easy access to the Royal Welsh Showground. With tasteful decoration and plentiful amenities the property really does feel like home from home. It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

The Art Attic A stylish, boutique apartment in the pretty Welsh town of Builth Wells. Situated above Beautifully Bonkers, a very quirky cafe/bar & gallery. The decor has been styled to create an arty feel, each room individually designed depicting 1 of 5 of my favourite artists. Gustav Klimt adorns the large open plan lounge/kitchen/dinner, Lowry in the king size bedroom & en-suite, Monet in the double bedroom en-suite , Picasso in the hall and Hockney in the minstrel’s gallery.

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.
