200 year old Gardener's cottage, Mid Wales

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). We have numerous walks on our doorstep, a 3 minute stroll to the River Severn and are a stone's throw from Llandinam Gravels Nature Reserve. We are also approximately 1 mile away from Plas Dinam Country House. It has a fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and large comfortable chairs - perfect for a short break or longer holiday. The light spacious kitchen includes an oil cooking range, electric cooker and all the other essentials you need. The local shop, pub & restaurant are superb and are within walking distance.

Basic kitchen - Loos and showers in the farmyard or own compost loo alongside. This farm is host to a community of volunteers from all over the world and you will be welcome to get involved in our way of life - close to land and seasons, or enjoy seclusion in a place that radiates peace and vitality with unpolluted night skies.
