Sitting at 7,000 ft. above sea level, views abound, as your retreat borders Taos Pueblo Native lands, yet is only 15 minutes from the Taos Plaza. Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

The Treehouse is a charming casita nestled under beautiful trees on a spacious property located on the banks of the Rio Pueblo. The stylish interior offers a rejuvenating, calm, and pampered experience. Outdoors, enjoy a wrap-around deck with a gas grill, fire pit, lounging areas, and a private hot tub off the bedroom. Located just off a main road, The Treehouse provides easy access to the historic Taos Plazas, Taos Pueblo (a World Heritage Site), and Taos Ski Valley.

Farmhouse Casita in scenic Llano San Juan 10 minutes off the High Road to Taos. Full kitchen and bath with washer dryer. Private fenced yard with garden, patio table and lounge chair. Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available.

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain.
